I want to begin by acknowledging the importance of supporting Black-owned businesses, and I genuinely admire anyone taking the leap to run a business in the food industry. I came to your restaurant hoping to have a good experience and support your efforts.
That said, I feel it’s only fair to be honest about my visit. Unfortunately, my experience left me disappointed. I was given the wrong order—someone else’s food—which caused confusion and frustration. I chose not to return it, but that shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
Additionally, the service felt disorganized, and the attitude I encountered made me feel unwelcome, as if I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer.
I do appreciate that the food is healthy, and that matters a lot to me. However, overall, it just didn’t meet my expectations in terms of flavor or experience, and I don’t see myself returning.
