AT&T Store — Local services in Newcastle

I just left a review on the AT&T website as well, but I wanted to make sure people steer clear of this store if not AT&T completely!

I visited this store with the intentions of leaving my current carrier based on a friend's recommendation. After visiting THIS AT&T store I will never take my 6 lines to AT&T.

While browsing the store, A member of staff, who I believe to be a supervisor of some sort.. (her name was either megan or morgan) was hateful and using profanity AT her staff in front of customers, myself included. She was saying things like "I don't Fing care, go over and do your "fing job".

This completely turned me off from AT&T. I cannot believe that this store would allow someone to work with customers in a sales setting with this lack of professionalism.

This is a family business, and SHOULD be a family oriented store. I should be able to bring my children into this store and not worry about someone dropping F Bombs. I truly believe that AT&T dropped the ball having a person in their store and should really consider having someone come out and speak with staff and customers about their experience with this individual.

They have lost 6 lines with me. and my family and friends who I will be telling about this. I would imagine they will be losing more in the future with people like this...

After having a lot of issues with my previous Carrier, I went in to the Newcastle AT&T store to see about getting a new phone and also getting a new service through AT&T. To make a very long and drawn out story short, my previous provider, Straight Talk, had messed up big time when they set up my account years ago and would not release me to go over to AT&T when I switched. In spite of the issues that my previous provider imposed on me and the staff, every one the staff members were very helpful, professional and friendly, and in spite of the issues that my previous carrier wanted to impose on me and AT&T, they were able to help me get it all sorted out and were able to get me set up with a brand new phone, much better service plan, and above all a good relationship with local people with local people at a local store. 10 out of 10 I would recommend anyone who is switching to AT&T, or even just looking at buying a new phone go through this location. Went in today because I lost my phone a few days ago. I had called AT&T helpline yesterday and they told me my only options were to file a claim with my insurance and bring it in later if I wanted an upgrade or pay the remaining balance on my lost phone and get a new one. I didn't want to wait for a replacement because who knew how long it would take to come in, especially with it being the weekend. So I went into the store prepared to pay $200+ to get a new phone. The staff was amazing and turns out there was an upgrade available on my plan from a tablet that they didn't tell me about when I called yesterday.
