Impressions Eyebrow Threading and Beauty Studio — Local services in Nicholasville

January 4th , 2024 I had an appointment to get serviced for eyebrow threading & to get my eyebrows tinted . While I’ve had my eyebrows threaded before I’ve never had them tinted . Mona asked if I’ve ever had them tinted before & I told her no . She proceed to not only do the tint application on one eyebrow but both eyebrows at the same time . She didn’t bother to do a patch test to see if I was allergic to this service or anything since I told her I’ve never had this service done . And my end result ended up being severely allergic . I had go to the emergency room due to my eyes swelling almost all the way shut , severe redness around my eyebrows , swelling all the way under my eyes , blisters covering my eyebrows , & now my eyebrow hairs are starting to fall out . I was fortunate to meet the owner today, who ran outside of her business screaming at me because my dog urinated on a public light pole outside of her leased space. She demanded that I clean it up and that I should have intervened when he lifted his leg. Never have I ever been accosted by a business owner about an animal marking (not excreta) a public light pole. Although I don’t use this service, I do know people that do, and will inform them to avoid this business. The leadership at this establishment lacks customer service and basic human interpersonal skills. As you can see from her previous replies to customer reviews she is highly unprofessional with aggressive replies. I have informed the surrounding businesses about this encounter just so they are aware of the reason consumers may avoid this stretch at Brannon Crossing. I am surprised by the good reviews that I am seeing for this lady. I have been to her place a couple of times and her behavior to me has been extremely rude. I continued going there only because her place is very close to my home. Couple of other Indian friends of mine had the same opinion about her. Looks like she is not only rude but also racial as I see her to be quite friendly with non-Indian customers. I have lived in this country for over 20 years and never felt this kind of discrimination earlier that too from a person belonging to your race. She may be good at her work (to me she is ok with regard to her work) and her place may be clean but I WILL NEVER AGAIN VISIT HER SALON AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND HER TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS FOR SURE.
