Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Nicholasville

Wish I could give 0 stars. So disappointed to have to give such a low rating. Food taste fine, customer service and professionalism on the other hand is far from acceptable. I was double charged for a catering order. I paid online and was also told I needed to pay in store upon pick up although I tried to explain that the charge already went through my band account. They denied that was possible and needed to pay again. When I contacted the store to explain the double charge Bill explained he would have to look into this and call me back. No phone call ever came. My phone number as well as my husband’s was then blocked. For some reason, they requested his phone number and email when he ran inside to pick up the catering order. I supposed that’s how they got his phone number to block. I was able to call from a friend’s phone no problem and it actually rang. Bill was short with me explaining that I’ll have the money refunded in 48 hours. It’s now been over a week, no refund, no answers and he had just left the store today when I called. No other managers had a clue of the situation at hand either. Each time Bill says he’ll follow up with me, he never calls. I’m having to call him for updates.

10/5/24 My husband and I came here for lunch and decided to try out a new place. I love the ambiance here is very homey and inviting. It’s a very cute setup, makes me want to have a tea party here. Chicken Salad Chick is a must-visit for chicken salad lovers! I ordered The Chick with a scoop of Olivia’s Old South, Sassy Scotty, and Kickin’ Kay Lynne, and it was a flavor-packed experience. Olivia’s Old South: A classic, creamy chicken salad with a hint of sweetness from the relish—simple, traditional, and perfectly balanced. Sassy Scotty: This one is rich and indulgent, with just the right amount of ranch, bacon, and cheddar. It’s comfort food in every bite. I ordered the classic chicken salad BLT with a cup of broccoli & cheese soup. My wife ordered the chicken salad BLT and a cup of the loaded potato soup. Both soups were excellent. The sandwiches , however, were a disappointment. They were ordered toasted but the bread was not toasted but grilled on one side only. This left the sandwich limp and cold. The bacon was not crisp and ate as though it was also limp and fatty. The chicken salad was the original flavor and really did not have a lot of flavor. It was well prepared and had the texture of chicken salad that I prefer. The next time I will order one of the other many flavors of chicken salad they offer.
