Id give 0 stars if it were an option. Dont be like me, take your phone in the store with you and actually look the item your interested in up before purchasing. The entire store is grossly over priced, just because items are old doesn't make them valuable, and every booth thinks theyve got gold. Ive visted a little more than a handful of times over about a years span, what ive experienced is some of the most miserable women employees ever, downright rude in behavior and tone. Long story short; found a casserole dish, proced $32.50, took said dish to counter to ask if we could call seller to haggle price down to $20. Woman worker abruptly answering in hateful tone "Shes not going yo do that, besides it was just sat out today" proceeds to tell me theyre not allowed to contact the sellers excpet for like 2 of them and that another booth had the same dish for $60+. I wont fault her on immediately asking me if i wanted it or not, I could have said no, so that was my fault, a lesson learned and a mistake I wont be making again. I get to my truck, look the item up, its at walmart for $17-20, same exact one. Mad was an understatement I would not ever recommend this store to anyone visiting Nicholasville, I also will not be returning to this store. My recommendations for vintage items that wont cost a kidney would be the Thrifty Parrot and Double Blessings Thrift Store, both right down the road off Main st. There is a sign that says no large hand bags on the door. I have a small backpack purse about 8x8in and when I walked into the store, the owner said she needed to take my bag, because it’s a back pack, and it’s policy.. there were 3 other shoppers inside with huge purses, bigger than mine, and when I ask why she didn’t take the other shoppers bags before shopping, feeling offended, she told me it’s because she had never seen me in there before. I am from out of town and loved to shop there when I had the chance to stop by, have spent hundreds of dollars in there since she opened. Amazing finds and vintage delights. Not your average vendor mall! Clean, well-lit, exceptionally well organized. Great bargains on charming vintage pieces and unique handmade gifts. Small enough for a quick stop-in but tremendous variety to browse at your leisure.
