CVS — Local services in Niles Township

This pharmacy is a tragedy waiting to happen. After they closed two nearby CVS's and consolidated all those customers and prescriptions to this store, there is always a long line and they are way behind filling prescriptions.

The inconvenient part: all of the notifications and auto-refills I had set up at my old CVS instantly disappeared when they moved our scripts to this store. So now we're constantly calling in scripts because they don't get auto-filled. And I've asked several times to have these set up, it just never happens.

The dangerous part: It took me three visits over as many days to get my wife's blood pressure medicine. On my third visit, the customer behind me wanted to know when he would get his insulin. It still wasn't ready. He had asked for a refill four days earlier, and had run out of insulin the day before. The kicker? As I was leaving I heard the pharmacy tech tell him to go to the ER to get his insulin.

So basically they're now sending people to wait for hours and pay ER co-pays because they can't adequately staff their...

I would give a negative Stars if I could. Went to pick up a prescription waited for over 30 minutes only to be told they don't have it called into them. Whereupon i call the doctor's office on the doctor's office confirmed it was called in over 2 hours ago. After saying that to the pharmacist they said they can't fill it in because they're closing within 15 minutes. This was Anabiotic that was needed to treat a bad infection and the pharmacist and the staff could care less. Absolutely the worst service ever!!!! will never...

I had a wonderful experience (on Sep 1st, around evening) at the CVS store located at 4001 Main St, Skokie, IL 60076, thanks to Aaron.
