I was so excited to hear that Soul Good was finally getting their own brick and mortar. The space is lovely and so are the baristas! The location is great has so many seating options. This will for sure be a Skokie staple.
What I ordered: Soul Sunny Latte- specialty chocolate banana latte. It was crazy how spot on the flavors were! I’m normally not a fruit and coffee girl but this latte was to die for! If you’re a banana girlie this is for you.
Cortado and drip coffee- both really good strong flavors! Simple yet effective for sure.
The breakfast burrito- Worth the price and was rather large. I loved the crispness of the hash browns and the salsa verde really adds to the depth of flavor. 10/10 recommend.
Poppy seed muffin: Super lemony but not overbearing with a crisp bake on the top. It was a great way to end the meal!
In total $40 for two people was super doable and affordable. You have to check...

The coffee is fantastic (they proudly serve Counter Culture), and I treated myself to a delicious cookie. They also offer Café Tola empanadas and some fresh salad options from the fridge, which is such a nice touch. I’m beyond excited to finally have a cozy café in this neighborhood, it’s been so needed and so worth the wait. I can already see myself spending many more days here working and enjoying the atmosphere. Can’t wait...
