Daiso - Japanese Household Goods — Local services in Niles Township

Amazing store. Daiso is Japanese Dollar Store ( for Japan ) here tho the prices range from $1.75 up to $16 . They have everything you need and more: baking supplies, craft/office supplies, camping, fishing, gardening, makeup, nails, party, toys for kids, gift packaging, snacks, plushies, Sanrio merch, you name it. Didn’t had time to fully explore but will be back for sure. While you browse your husband or boyfriend can go to Home Depot since it’s in the same parking lot. After you shop here you can get a boba drink or a bubble waffle at Tsaocaa which right next to Daiso, get some groceries at SuperHmart or more stationary products from Artbox which is a Korean stationary store inside Hmart. If this is not enough, heck go to spa at King Spa cuz you deserve it girl after a long shopping trip 😂. Anyway, Daiso is such a fun store, and i doubt you will leave that store without anything! I was so excited to see that Daiso is in Niles and they just moved to this location and opened 3/8/25. I love this place! You can find all kinds of things you might want to need and don't need but want and figure out a way to use even if you won't need it. They have cute kitty stuff everywhere which I love and things that are creative and not necessarily needed but nice to have. Japanese culture has so much cuteness and detail oriented mindsets that add to life. I love the cat paw baking or ice mold! So cute. No bathroom but free parking in a huge mall next to super HMart. Everything is mostly about $1.75 to $5.00 on average. No refunds and no exchange....

Extremely disappointed with the cashier’s conduct.

I purchased 8 household items at location. However, after getting home and reviewing my receipt, I saw I was charged for something i did not purchase. It appears the cashier scanned it before I even approached the register. This is either clear dishonesty or extremely poor management. Either way, it’s unacceptable. I expect better oversight and accountability...
