Everyone that works here was nice enough including the judge, my main complaint is the speed trap in Nitro. They pull you over before the speed actually changes over and are sitting there every hour of every day. Ive had a speeding ticket before and never fought it because I was in fact speeding. This one I did, and the judge said I was guilty based on the officers word alone, the officer didn't even measure my speed at all and was tailgating me which prevents one from slowing down even further. Anyway as someone that lives in the area, I will avoid Nitro at all costs. Not worth it. Not a good look for the community. On a positive, the judge did lower the speed I was going on the ticket….to the speed I was actually going but didn't change the speed zone I was actually pulled over in. No points on my license but still going to raise my insurance which will add up to $1000s over the next 3 years. Justice was not served unfortunately...

This is a dying city that is relying on money from tickets, if you want a ticket just drive...

They have the machine to take cards but they just haven’t felt the need to set it up. I recommend if you get a ticket, pay it ASAP because it’s hard to tell when this place...
