Valley Cash Feed Store — Local services in Nitro

Dealt with this company for many years. I have bought a lot of feed from the store. They sold me hay that they said was Timothy and orchard grass mix for almost $10 a bale. When I got it home, my horses would not eat it. I asked if they would take it back and they said they would not. Then he reneged a little and said that he would look at it if I brought it in and determine if he would refund my money, but I had to have the receipt. This is not how you take care of a customer. Have been a customer for over ten years. Delivery is reasonably priced considering the hassle hauling feed, sawdust, hay etc. Staff is helpful and have gone above and beyond for us on numerous occasions. Prices are reasonable. Will try to keep items that you need in stock. Occasionally items are back ordered which is a pain and hay quality can vary quite a bit. Other than that this is your go to feed store...

My favorite thing about this place is their cat(s). I do feel bad for the woman who works the register bc the place has no AC. They have a variety of dog treats along with dog collars & horse harness. The sell flea & tick medicine but the best thing is the variety of deworming medicine for dogs.
