I want to set the record straight and tell it like it really is regarding Norco Loan. When people complain about Burt not offering the price they want, maybe he's just trying to do you a favor; making it easy enough for you to get your stuff out of pawn when the time comes. Because if you're in a position to be desperate for a few bucks at that moment, when will you be able to pay back any more than that to get it out? The truth is, Burt and Bunny are really understanding and compassionate people. They are also good listeners. God knows they've been therapy for me many times, listening to me vent about my troubles as our business is conducted. They never seem to pass judgement or try to fix it by giving me advice. Sometimes all we need is for someone to listen. And I have to say that when I leave there I feel better because I have the cash cushion I needed and I was able to spill my troubles out to a neutral party. They know that most people who go in to see them are in need of some quick cash to get them through to the next paycheck. They have always been very nice and and have always given me fair prices. Their rates are also much better than other place I've been to, and I've been to at least 4 other places. So, don't believe all the negative things people say in reviews. Don't even believe ME! I was there today and it wasn't a pleasant experience. There is a sign saying near the door no mask required beyond this point. First thing came to my mind is Red Supporter. I should of turn around. So I went to the desk and spoke with a younger man. I told him I want see how much I can get for my items. He left the desk after looking at some of my items and he got another older man. I thought leaving and not saying anything was rude when I was there to do business. Then I knew there was an issue. So this older guy made small talk but his constant asking what I want, then what is the lowest I can tell he didn't really want to do business with the likes of me. I love this place and this family run business. No nonsense get er done. Have always been treated fairly. Bad finances led us to pawning same items over and over, no problem we don't mind when we need quick cash. Then we settle up then come back in in a couple months. No shame since I am disabled + no income since 11/3018. It's all good. No complaints. We buy stuff every now and then. I like their style. Straight forward what you see is what you get.
