New review: 7/05/2025 Yet another reason this Costco location gets a 1-star rating: I got a frozen yogurt with strawberry cup, and asked for a lid as I normally do, to transport it home. I was told Costco no longer gives lids for those frozen yogurt orders. I was given a sheet of aluminum foil, and told it was perfectly ok to wrap it, and it would not drip over the brim. Is that acceptable? Because I'll tell you, it is NOT ACCEPTABLE. And for the lady to tell me it would be perfectly safe and not drip off the brim and into my car's cupholder, like I'm completely new to life experience, is condescending, patronizing, and also NOT OK. This location continues to disappoint me. Look at the photo I posted. I had to eat a large amount just so it would not drip off the brim, so I could bring it home to my partner. I didn't want to eat any of it, to begin with. But that's what I had to do. Seriously, do better, Costco. As an EXECUTIVE MEMBER, who ALSO USES YOUR CREDIT CARD, I expect better from you. ************************** I want to share the experience I had with the Costco VISION CENTER, today (11/02/2024). This morning, I came in at around 9:20. There was only one gentleman working there, at the time. I asked his help to replace a screw on the end piece of my eyeglass rim. It had apparently just popped off yesterday, while I was at work, causing the lens to fall out. I couldn't find the screw. I brought my glasses to Costco, because in general, the people at Costco had been dependable, knowledgeable people; at least, the people at the Costco I used to frequent, in Arizona. This gentleman took a screw that looked entirely too long for the screwhole of my end piece, and basically just pushed in the screw. It went all the way in without much screwing. The end jutted far out the bottom. He said, "The screw holes are stripped. You can't replace it." Then he just pushed out the screw. I said, "It doesn't look like the right size screw." His reply was, "This is a universal screw and should work for this, but the screw holes are stripped, so you can't replace it." I thanked him and took my glasses back. I went on to do my usual shopping at Costco. Later this afternoon, I took my glasses to Wal-Mart, and made the same request. The lady there took them and FIXED THEM. She found a screw of the CORRECT SIZE and screwed the end piece in its proper place. If I had listened to the person at Costco's vision center this morning, I might've stopped using my glasses altogether, or simply tossed them. Thanks to the lady at the WAL-MART vision center, I can use my glasses again. Costco vision center, please educate your team. This is why my review of this Costco gets 1 star today.

Used to be a member until I moved recently. Sam's Club was closer so I bought a membership there. But there are still some items that Sam's Club doesn't sell - or not nearly at the same price point. So, I went online and placed an order. Got the confirmation email and a few minutes later, a cancellation. Possible reasons were an error in the payment info or my address (both were fine). Waited a few minutes and tried again with the same result. In the meantime, Costco put a hold on both cancelled purchases that, after a week, still weren't removed. I called Costco and they said the holds on my bank account were released but the problem was that I didn't renew my membership. I told the CS rep that the website says you can order online but you pay a 5% surcharge (which was reflected on both of my attempts to place an order) and asked him to run that up his chain of command. I checked the website and their policy is attached. It makes not sense. On the one side it says you can't order at Costco.com without a membership; then it says you can if you pay the surcharge; then it says you can't order member-only items without a membership. Nowhere on the page for the item I ordered does it indicate whether it's a "member-only" item. Come on, Costco. I've shopped at your stores for years and you do things better than this.

The store used to be a great place to shop: wide, clean isles, plentiful parking and multiple staffed checkout lanes. 2023 ================================================= The store had finally undergone the Norfolk treatment ! - The parking lot is packed with cars on all sides, parking is a pain, then the management decided to renovate and further limiting access to store and parking - The local management took notes from the Walmart checkout experience leaving 1-2 cashiers working and forcing everyone to use the "self checkout". Yes, Costco, this is exactly what your customers pay $100/year and and purchase $200-$800 worth of stuff for so that they could then stand in line to scan it themselves, and stand in line again to get their receipts checked. - The store is a complete pain to navigate now, the lines that form in the front successfully cut off the access to the isles in the front of the store, so much that I simply stopped even trying to navigate that area. - The back of the store isnt better, the amount of people in there, while great for the business, has all the vibes of Christmas shopping on the 23rd of Dec. - It feels just like Walmart now, minus the discounted prices, so why am I paying for the membership ? In short, "Welcome to Costco.......I love you"

This review is for the food counter only (not the store) selling hot dogs, ice cream etc. on your way out of the store. I remember the years before they shut it down due to Covid. The best food at great prices. Our favorite the sausage with green peppers/onions and the large hot dogs which they still offer but the problem today was the following: I ordered 2 hotdogs which you now order on a machine and pay there. Fair enough but when I picked them up from the counter, they were in brown flimsy paper bags without being in foil or a hot dog carton not even in a napkin. My hands were dirty from shopping and I didnt want to touch the hotdog so I go to get napkins to retrieve it from the bag and there werent any. Other people were looking as well. I found a partial roll of paper towels that weren’t perforated and tried to tear a piece off which was difficult and didn’t work out. This is terrible service for your members. There were No onions, no sauerkraut, no chili, no cheese for the hotdogs so what’s the point of selling us one? Raise the price by 50cents or a dollar and offer a nicer selection of toppings like before? Instead you have kept the same price and offer mustard and ketchup only and a relish pump if it works. You raised your membership price but not your customer service. You can do much better because you have done so in the past. If you don’t want self serve condiments such as onions or sauerkraut anymore or nor chili at least provide it in packets for your members. That is who is allowed in the store. It’s your members that keep you in business why not treat them better than this? By the way you need to hire someone to keep that snack bar area clean it was a disaster. Half eaten food plates were sitting next to the drink machine that had not been thrown out because they probably didn’t see a trash can close by. Put one in full...

I have been a Costco member for around 25 years and have used several Costco Warehouses worldwide over the years. I have never had any issues with any other Costco warehouses, but have had several with this one. Unfortunately over the past year or so, this warehouse has gotten much worse. I dread going there every time. There are some really nice employees at this location however it seems like the majority of employees are extremely rude and shouldn't work in retail. Unfortunately they put these individuals as ID checkers and other customer service sensitive areas. On a side note, I had to show my membership card 3 different times to 4 different employees for one purchase of 3 bags of dirt.  How does Costco not think ID checks have gotten out of hand?

I have had multiple issues with the pharmacy at this location not putting orders in after telling them at the drop off window in person then blaming me for the order not being ready and telling me to wait another 30 minutes. They have improperly filled my 5 year olds medications. Their excuses every time is "oh we don't get a lot of children's medicine. Is there a difference between a children's pharmacist and adult? Seems like improperly filled prescription can kill you either way and would require the same knowledge and certifications as a pharmacist. This has happened more than once over the years. Personally, not sure how how the FDA has never stepped in on them for issues like this.

These are just a couple of experiences I've had within the past year and is leading me to seriously consider if I'll continue my membership. This thought had never even crossed my mind since starting my membership until now and I've already ended...
