I have never in my life thought I would have to "Karen out" on a company before. But damn was I wrong.
We went into this place to get my Google 8 pro fixed on Jan 30th. They said it would be done around 5:00 and we thought "dang that's perfect!"
We then got a text that they didn't have the right screen in stock and would have to order one to replace it with (which was no biggie). I went to pick my phone up on the 3rd of Feb.
The guy asked if my photos were all there and I checked and said "yes." However, there was a black dot on the screen with a line that went through it. I told him this and he brushed it off. The black dot just got worse so I brought it back in on Feb. 11 and the guy there said it was a different guy who helped us and to come back the following day. I did and the guy told me "no the black dot wasn't there when I fixed it."
I let him know it was and he told me it wasn't and that he would pull up the camera footage.
I agreed to this and he showed me that I "looked at everything and agreed it was fine." I then said "no you asked if my photos were all there and I agreed that they were. But the black dot was there along with the line. I took a photo on my husband's phone the day I picked it up if you want me to show you." He then said he would fix the screen and I said "no. I don't want it to be in the shop for another four days just to still be broken." He said "no we can order the screen and then call back in."
I agreed to this because why not? While he was taking down my information he said "this is the only 'favor' I will do for you." He then finished and said he would order an AFTERMARKET SCREEN.
Remind you, the aftermarket screen will not work on a Google pixel 8 pro, hence why they had to keep it for four days the last time.
I would also like to state that my selfie camera is now very blurry and when you look at the alignment of the screen you can see that it isn't even aligned with the camera itself.
Do NOT bring your stuff here. I am sure they have done great work in the past since they have high ratings or they just report all the negative reviews. I don't know how they have such high ratings.
However, I've attached a picture of my phone (and my receipt) with the company since they decline have served anyone with a bad review.
If you do take your phone here get everything in writing and please be mindful of EVERYTHING on the screen when you get it back because there was also glue residue on my screen when I received it back.

Read moreI came here to get my iPhone 15 plus fixed the next day I wasn't getting any calls so I powered the phone off and once I powered it back on it was a black screen the phone was still on making kocie buzzing and all I then proceeded to have to power it back off while the screen was back so I had to swipe across the top of the phone multiple times to power it off mind you the screen still blacked out . So then the following week I was going to use my apple pay at the store my phone completely froze so I couldn't touch nor power anything of so I proceeded to take my phone to the place so I'm telling them what's going on with my phone then they goes to say 'normally we would charge you for this' mind you it hasn't even been full week the phone has been fixed so I leave come back the man gives me my phone and the screen is hanging out the phone so I goes to ask him why it's not all the way in he then say 'its in but you push it it's not gonna go all the way' so basically the screen doesn't fit my phone so he goes to fix it again bring it back my face id isn't working then another guy saying 'they can't do nothing about the face id not working' mind you it was working before I brough them the phone so he fixes it again. Read moreWhoever I dealt with yesterday was not very nice. I repeated myself several times and he seemed to have no idea what I was saying until it finally clicked. He seemed like he just wanted to get me out quickly.
I paid a $45 deposit and was told that $105 would be due after the repair. Got the repairs done today. They thought it needed a new antenna cable because my phone kept randomly dropping service (and I had already confirmed it wasn't a SIM issue). Replaced one, it didnt work. So they replaced the second one, which did work. That added $20 more. I wish I had a better breakdown of pricing because by all this logic, 2 antenna cables should be $40 but I paid $160. So where's the missing $120? They had my phone for an hour and a half? Is their labor cost really $60/hour?
Though I am satisfied with the repair, I was not satisfied with the lack of price transparency and whoever it was I interacted with yesterday. They did knock off $5, which i appreciate, but given the grand total didnt do much.
