Please listen very closely...this one star rating goes toward the MANAGER...of this facility. He made a real slick comment out of his mouth...something to the effect of (good riddance) or its a relief or something to that effect. He was BLACK...I'm BLACK. And for some reason when you put US in charge...that's when the N- - - a comes out. Our own people. I ordered a sirloin well...but NOT DRIED OUT...I specifically asked the waitress ro tell the cook to POUR the JUICES OVER THE STEAK and I would use that as my sauce. The steak was dry as the Sahara dessert. A Caucasian lady whom I assume was the assistant MNGR...offered to recook the meal herself. I was reluctant fearing something negative from the COOK...But she did...the steak came right back out...DRY...I pulled out my phone and showed her a photo of some Top class chefs in New Jersey where me and my 1st wife went to eat...I ordered a Sirloin there...well but not DRYYYYY.. the steak came out with pure JUICES...flavoring mouth watering Damme. I said mam do you see this. She was saying well we're not that restaurant we cook on a flat grill...listen. I don't give a rats behind WHAT you cook on. You're a MAJOR food chain...RUBY TUESDAYS...MAKE IT HAPPEN DAMMM. I just have faith in RUBY TUESDAYS to get er done. But not for your manager to get slick out his mouth at me. What I'm saying is the negative attitude came from the TOP.... What he needed to be doing is clean the men's restroom and also put SOAP in the dispenser. And show your cooks in the back how to make and serve a well cooked but JUICED up steak. Now watch this...the one in VA BEACH DID....So why can't the one in NORFOLK. And I tipped VA beach WELLL...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I came here for a late dinner tonight for the last time! Usually, we sit at the bar and enjoy a good talk with the bartender. This time, we decided to sit at a booth, bad idea. The waitress (Christie I think) cane to our table after about five minutes of sitting there. She was completely monotone and clearly in a bad mood. We got our drinks, she walked by not even a minute later and asked if we were ready to order. We let her know we needed a little more time. About 15 minutes later we ordered our food and my boyfriend put his nearly empty mug at the end of the table. We ordered an appetizer and our meal. The food came quickly and looked as if it was slapped together in a hurry. Boyfriend's drink is now empty. I had to go to another table to get our silverware. My boyfriend asked for more dressing for his salad, it never came. My broccoli was way over cooked and some of it was brown and had a funky smell to it. I watched the manager walk around, sit in a booth for a bit then completely avoid our table and walk over to the other employees and chat. Literally, the only person I could see working was the bartender. She also happened to be the one to refill my boyfriend's drink after I walked up to the bar. That's when the manager decided to say something to the waitress. I walked back to our table to wait for the waitress for about seven minutes. She then brought me a refill for my water which I didn't need and I requested our bill immediately. We left her a buck on about a $40 tab. Biggest problem, the place was dead and STILL completely horrible service. People, you'd be better off driving a little further down the parking lot...
Read moreTHE WORST.... I visited 1/21, the night the snow started.... Staff looked at us for 10 minutes standing in the front waited to be seated while she FOLDED HER FUNKY NAPKINS. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had to walk over to her and ask did I need to seat myself. Only then, with a sour attitude, did she alert staff of our presence. The waitor was great but the food was HORRIBLE... It tasted like everyone was ready to go home!!! The ribs were pink and undone, the mashed potatoes were CLUMPY and hard, as if the had been sitting under a heat lamp ALL DAY and scraped from around the edges of the pan, the Artichoke dip was covered in an oil, brown on the interior and the chicken tenders seemed to be fried 3 times before they were served because the were ROCK HARD. The only thing good in my appetizer was the cheese sticks. My ranch even had hair in it!! Ewww!! The 1/2 rack rib dinner was TRASH.... Even our Lemonades were spoiled. I didnt even order an entree.... The whole everything was bad, I couldn't fathom continuing on. Management felt the tension and come over, saw the food and apologized. She agreed that this is not the type of food thet served and refunded us for majority of the order. Wish I knew her name to thank her again.
