As an industry professional, I have worked with every DJ company. When it was time to chose a DJ and emcee for my own son's Bar Mitzvah I knew exactly who I wanted to work with. Howie, James, Crome, Nick, Kitty, and the entire team from NYX were flawless from start to finish. The booking and contracting process was easy, they reply to all emails quickly, and they made fabulous recommendations about what we would need.

On site, their team was professional, prepared, and in tune with the party. We used NYX for our graphics and rented their giant LED screen. The resolution and quality of that screen made jaws drop. It was stunning. NYX created incredible graphics that were played all night. Our montage was shown perfectly, and sounded great as well. NYX makes sure to test all equipment, and is always prepared with backups just in case.

James’ mix of music made us feel like we were in a club, which was exactly what we wanted. He played all the songs we know and love, but the way he mixes music was fresh and original. Our dance floor was packed all night and so many guests complemented both the music, and Crome. Crome kept the kids busy during cocktail hour. During the party he listened to all the requests we made before hand. We got the extra long hora we asked for and the perfect mix of involvement combined with letting guests do their thing on the dance floor. My son's friends told us they had never seen so many people dance at a Bar Mitzvah before!

The dancers definitely motivated the kids and helped the party flow, while letting the adults dance with each other. They are true professionals that understand how a Bar/Bat Mitzvah works and respect everyone in the room.

We felt taken care of and heard during the entire process. I didn’t have a doubt before our party, and now that the night is over, I only have great things to say. We adore NYX and can’t wait to work with them...

We had Joy Jewell, of NYX Events, MC our daughter's Bat Mitzvah. We were thrilled with our event! Joy and her team were absolutely fabulous! She kept the kids busy and engaged all night with games and dancing. And they had so much fun. She was also so helpful with planning. She told me just how many prizes to get and what kind. The kids were happy with the giveaways and prizes too!

The DJ played the music I requested and even added others I didn't pick but that were right up our alley. My guests were up and dancing a lot and not just sitting at their tables watching.

Joy met with me and my daughter twice before the event. She listened to what we wanted, had great ideas and original things for the kids to do. She even matched her outfit to the decor! She and her team  were so great and so fun. We felt like they were our friends and that they were taking care of everything. They followed my timeline and my lead.

The party had such a fun vibe without being too loud or too much. From the youngest to the oldest everyone had a great time. Everyone has been telling us it was the best party they've ever attended! Even the photographer who has been doing this for 15 years!  We would definitely use Joy and her team again. We had so much fun and will remember and treasure this day forever!
