We did the Dragons Tower escape room on Sunday, 9/7/25. The actual VR experience would've been great, but the venue is completely wide open, with zero sound dampening. There was a kids birthday party there when we first arrived, and the staff member said "oh it will quiet down because the party is almost over." Well, another group was in the spot right next to us, and they literally screamed the entire time they did their experience. We couldn't hear the intro - we just had to read the subtitles. We could barely hear each other to communicate our strategies. That aspect of it was terrible, and clearly ruined the "immersion" that the experience should give. For $160 for 3 people, we deserved a dedicated space without distractions. It was our first VR escape room, and we would do another one for sure, but definitely not at this location. If you luck out and go when nobody else is there, it would be an entirely different experience. But at that price point, definitely not worth the gamble.

My first time here at the VRarena In rockville I signed up for my son who is 12 years old to play single player arcade games he played job simulator, super hot, vacation simulator, he loved all the games me and my family watched him play and were involved in his game play. Staff are super friendly and very generous Ari was very attentive and nice when my son needed help when occasional occurrence would happen &Jaden gave a run down + tour of the multiplayer escape room which seems really fun. Thank you for this experience.

I purchased a session at this place, and me and my sister loved it! We played numerous of games and I would love to come here again. The staff were amazing and fast with their work, Ari and Shant helped us with their great service and I'm thankful for the time and effort into helping us. I would come here again for my birthday or hers, I really liked it.

UNREAL! I literally just got home not 10 minutes ago and feel like I owe the. This review stat.

First, Jillian (sorry if I’m getting your name wrong. We were the 8:45 pm Appt on 10/9/20) was our VR master and she was great! From the moment I walked in, she was all smiles and was super helpful. Technically, they close at 9:30 and our 1 hour reservation was at 8:45. She stayed an extra half hour and we never felt rushed. Absolutely amazing young woman with awesome customer relationship skills.

Second, the games are really cool. Some better than others, but they have a zombie horde game where waves just keep coming and it is intense! I was in the marines and this got me excited. Highly recommend! They have another that is a capture the flag game, it reminded me of Enders Game where they play in the no-gravity arena. Very similar to that. Only played for an hour so chose to stick to the ones I liked. And I’m a marine so first person shooter games are my jam.

Tips for the establishment: 1. I was worried this was a scam. The sign is pretty 2nd rate and it’s in a warehouse. I was a little sketched out. 2. I never got a confirmation email so I thought I had been scammed out after I gave my card info. 3. When you try to call, it is just silent, no ringing, and goes straight to voicemail. You need to fix these issues so people don’t feel uneasy giving you their money. I can’t be the only one who has felt this way.

As to the calling issue, pay Jillian a little more and have her answer calls. She is your ticket to customers. That girl is great and will only help you get more customers. Obviously, I am a huge fan.

The 1-hour for $49.99 is TOTALLY worth it. Give it a shot and you won’t be disappointed. I will definitely be going back. Thanks VR Zone! Finally got someone to watch the kids and very glad we used it to check out this fun new interactive entertainment....

TL;DR: The Rockville location is not worth the $50/person ticket price- gross smelling equipment, limited 4-player game selection, cold open floor plan warehouse, and overall underwhelming experience. I booked a 60-minute arcade experience for a group of 4 with the idea that we would play multi-player games together. This was everyone’s first virtual reality experience. The Rockville location is a cold open floor plan warehouse where you can hear/see everyone — my group was lined up in a row so it was hard to talk/hear each other, especially as you can hear everyone else in the warehouse too. You’re also attached to the ceiling making it harder to move around. Also, the face gear straight up smelled like gross sweat— I was so uncomfortable and wish they had things to wipe down the gear and consistently maintained it so it didn’t get smelly. While the staff set us up with the gear — despite asking/knowing it was our first time playing— they didn’t originally offer any recommendations for good multiplayer games or stay around in the beginning as we all got used to the equipment. After a few mishaps and we got into a game— one of our group members hit their head on the wall and fell— the staff was quick to check in and provide anything we asked (thank you!) but I do think padding on the walls below the screen would be beneficial since kids play too (this was a young teen). After that, a different staff member did offer/assist all of us with a game recommendation and we had a lot of fun right at the end of our time limit. I don’t think it’s worth the $50/person charge at all and would probably not go again (especially the Rockville location). I was just so underwhelmed with the whole experience. Wish...

DONT EVER COME HERE. They are over priced as well as will SCAM you out of your money. I came here with my son because my son and I love to do VR together, this was my first time ever coming here. When you come in to the location there is no REFUND POLICY POSTED. And you are required to make a payment before receiving the service. Well my son headset and experience went well, while I spent most of my hour going through all of the games that didnt work. I explained to the young man that I didnt want to play anymore because none of the games I wanted to play was working, I also asked for a partial refund in which I was told they weren't able to do that (he had a attitude about that by the way) so he provided me with a email for the management , I wrote them complaining about my experience and requesting a partial refund. Never received a response from them. A week goes by and I contact my bank to dispute the charge, in which I received a credit but the merchant CLAIMED that I was able to use my services and they werent even there, also even LIED and said there line of communication had been open to me. If you want to get your MONEY worth DONT COME HERE, THEY ARE TERRIBLE AND...
