All the hype about this place.. Owner has competed as part of the United States Pizza Team since 2013 and has been voted “Best Pizza in Cleveland” several times and won 4 national competitions for Best “Pizza in America”. Owner recently appeared on the Hulu show "Best in Dough" taking home the $10k Grand Prize and title of "Best in Dough".
With all the hype and accolades on paper, I was living for it, and so excited for some delicious pizza in North Canton! I felt like our area was about to be blessed with a chef's kiss! ... but, really not!!!
My husband and I ordered pizza from here on Saturday 11/15/25 - ordered Cleveland deep dish w/ cup pepperoni & an order of Parm bites.
Very disappointed. Pizza was over $20 and the flavor was on par with a totinos pizza from Walmart. I refer to this taste of pizza as "crab meat pizza"... The sauce just tastes like imitation crab meat. 🤢🤮
Nothing about this pizza was good. Very bland toppings. I ended up scraping everything off at one point and just eating the "best in dough" portion of it.
The Parm bites were edible. I didn't scrape anything off...however, I did have to take paper towels to dab all the excess oil.
Since moving to North Canton, all the pizza in the area sucks. I do have one favorite that I finally found... However, I didn't mind Zepps. It was tolerable, it had flavor, I was a repeat customer with them, nonetheless.
.... Now I really miss it after this!!!! You don't really miss something or appreciate something...
Read moreI drive past this place all the time on my way home from work. I was surprised when I realized that Zepps was no longer in business and there was now a new pizza shop in town. Tonight I had decided to get a few items from here for the Ohio State game. I ordered the Cleveland Deep-Dish with cup'n Crumble but I held the sausage, I also tried the Parmesan bites. For a pizza order on game night I was thinking it was going to be around 45 minutes but I was delighted to find that it only took about 20 minutes. That was the only thing good about my order though, pizza quality and flavor was very underwhelming. The pizza sauce tasted like it came straight from a jar. Cheese was supposed to be cheddar blend and a prov/mozz blend as well, but could not tell as it had no flavor. The crust resembles a frozen pizza more like DiGiorno deep dish. I was very excited to watch the game and eat this pizza that I seen was supposed to be "Best in Dough" don't know how they won anything. Better off going to little Caesars and getting their deep dish. About the same taste and a lot cheaper. If you are in the market for a great pizza, just go where I should have gone to in the first place. THAT LITTLE ITALIAN KITCHEN. If you...
Read moreWas excited to see another new what we thought was non big box chain pizza shop. We love other local favorites like that. We got deep dish (not Chicago but Cleveland style DD). The pizza was just not spectacular or really original. The dough was very similar to Pizza Hut, so much the person I shared it with said it tasted like Pizza Hut. The toppings were ok. I liked that they had different types of toppings like numerous styles of pepperoni and numerous types of sausage. Just nothing really stood out as amazing in flavor or palette contour. Pretty generic for a $25 medium pizza disguised as gourmet style pizza. There are better gourmet options, if it was cheaper it would be a much better alternative to Pizza Hut as it was made well and with care, which these days can also make a place stand out since many of the big box pizza chains look like they throw the toppings on the pizza in piles and not separated. Unfortunately I would say lower the prices and compete with Pizza Hut otherwise if you want gourmet style pizza there is a better option. Still not bad...
