Parking is okay, could have been better planned. It appears the developer tried to keep cut through traffic down, but it still could have been better in the actual parking area.
The no right turn exciting towards Cedarville is poor!!! To get to route 100 you have to go all the way through the parking back around and make multiple turns. As such, I've seen an extensive amount of ppl speeding through the lot to make up time for having to go backwards (a hazzard to pedestrians and other motorists) to exit with access to route 100, or watch even more make the illegal turn at the Cedarville exit. The only two entrances to this plaza are not consumer friendly. This might be why stores don't succeed and leave. The two anchor stores do okay as does the chain restaurant, but other stores don't seem to do as well. It was disappointing to see Michael's craft store leave several years back.

Read moreThe main retailers here are Lowe's, Michaels and PetSmart. There is also an unattached small strip mall just to the south of PetSmart that includes an AT&T store.
The Lowe's is great in terms of selection. Prices are higher than Home Depot unless you have and use your Lowe's card which automatically gives you a 5% discount. Biggest problem with this Lowe's is the narrow parking aisles which are very pickup truck unfriendly vs. the Home Depot on Armand Hammer which is very truck friendly.
From my experience, this PetSmart has the same inventory as other PetSmarts. Biggest problems are finding someone to help you and checking out. Often, there is no one at the cash register. On the plus side, it has a generous parking lot so if you have a dog that barks at other dogs, you can readily...
Read moreTown Square Plaza, off Route 100 at the south end of Pottstown, is one of the newer and better filled area strip centers. It's anchored by Loews, Michael's, and PetSmart, but I go there for a good meal at the Longhorn, Chinese eat-in or take-out, and no appointment necessary hair cuts. It's clean, nicely laid out with plenty of parking lot trees, and has a bank and a drugstore in free-standing pad sites. In addition to my haunts there's a much larger list of good tenants, and if you're looking for Wal-Mart, it's roughly two miles north on 100 beyond the junction with 422, and a little bit farther up the way, there's TJ Maxx, Target, and a whole lot more at...
