I have been getting my eyelashes done professionally for the past three years, and I honestly had a terrible experience at M LASH that I recently started to go to in September. I told the woman doing my eyelashes that I did not want them to be too bold and I wanted something natural but she still talked me into doing a hybrid. I have only ever gotten classic done before this and would never need a refill before 3 weeks.
I needed a refill after the first week of having the hybrid lashes and then for my second refill I was able to retain most of my eyelashes for a two week fill. She would never get the eyelashes closest to my nose and it was so noticeable that there was a gap in my eyelashes. I would wear safety goggles in the shower to protect my eye lashes because I could not keep wasting money getting them refilled so close together. I would wash my eyelashes with a cleanser recommended by my eye doctor that I have been using for well over a year now. She told me that the eyelashes are not working for me and that she would have to try something else and that would require a three week fill instead because it is more work for her to do. I asked her to just remove them but at the cost of $40 that took her 10 minutes, I should have just gone home and did it myself.
I went to a new eye lash place today and consulted with one of the lash technicians today, and she told me that the lashes were way too heavy for my natural eyelashes. It should have been recognized after I needed a fill after one week that the technique or eyelash was not appropriate for my natural eyelashes.
I am extremely disappointed in M LASH. My technician would spend the time talking on the phone or texting in the middle of my appointment. I think it is gross to touch your phone and then touch someones eyelashes and face.
They just want your money and do not care at all for their customers. A total waste of money, I do...
Read moreI never write reviews but I had to share my terrible experience with everyone who is considering to go here for eye lash extensions. I am a first time customer and wanted full set of eye lash extensions, I requested the Hybrid style. I made sure to tell her (Ruby) I wanted a natural look, shorter in length and open eye style. She said "OK" While I was getting my Lashes done she got up at least 3 times, she answered a personal phone call and was on the phone for at least a 5 minutes. My service was done in about 35 min. Normally a full set will take an artist at least an 1-2 hours. Her technique of applying my Lashes were uncomfortable, her hand would be resting on my forehead and eye. I could feel some pulling on my eye lid. Come to think of it... I just hope that the instruments they used were sanitized and safe for clients to use, especially during a pandemic...when she finished she gave me the mirror and the glue was irritating my eyes so I just glanced at them and said ok...paid and left... but when I got home to examine them closer... the glue was applied on my skin of the eye lids not the natural Lashes themselves. They were not applied properly, no fanning of the Lashes, just clumps stuck together. I immediately called them up and complained about the results and how my right eye feels uncomfortable. I could hear the employees talking in the background about my situation. It was very unprofessional. After telling them my situation and how I felt, they wanted me to pay $45 for the removal in order to get my $100 back. I told them that they did such a horrible job and I don't feel safe going back there. I mean I could hear them arguing over the phone in a different language, so I couldn't understand what they were saying. I definitely did not feel safe after the conversation and do not want to go back there again! They can keep my money! Please do...
Read moreI gave this place 3 chances (twice at North Haven and once at Orange). They are usually professional and quick but the problem is, in their rush to get one appointment after another, they are not consistent. Their lash retention is not great, and their patterns are inconsistent. I have 1 semi doll eye and 1 cat eye right now. Knowing about the grace period I told my lash tech right away, but despite me telling her in time, and knowing I can't come in to fix this today, she was totally inflexible and said I would still have to pay for a 1week fill. Also, lashes are usually a relaxing experience for me but instead, I had loud gossiping in my ears first thing in the morning because her colleague decided to hang out in my room during the whole duration of my service. It's unfortunate because I would be open to even doing a discounted fill but to charge me full price for a fill when all my lashes have fallen out after less than 48 hours is ridiculous. My appointment was 930am Monday, didn't start til about 10am and I messaged before 8am today. Also, technically the 3 days should expire tomorrow. If we're counting hours, pennies and cents, I should be able to come in...
