The last straw. Every time I go in there there is some kind of problem.Every time I leave I say Iām never coming back. But today was the last straw. I tried to return a box of wine that I bought a few days ago. When I opened it it was obviously spoiled. I talked to the manager Kenny. He first said he couldnāt take it back because it was alcohol. I told him Iāve gotten bad ones at wine and spirits and they take them back. He said āBut weāre a grocery store.ā My argument is that itās still an item sold in your store. He then said he couldnāt take it back because it was opened. I asked how could I know if it was spoiled without opening it. So which is it because itās alcohol or because it was opened? I also asked if I returned a spoiled grocery item if they would take it back. He said yes. So how is this different? He said there were different āguidelinesā??? Total BS! Anyway, like I said this is the last straw. I will definitely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent in about 100 pm. All check out were open including the four self check out lanes. It does say 20 items or less. I didnāt really count how many I had but anyway used the self check out. I had one item that did not scan so I asked for help. The older lady manager came over and helped me. She was polite but did say that next time to use the other lanes that the self check out was for express customers only. She did not have to say that to me. Am I being unreasonable. If you have ever shopped here it is not the best grocery store and prices are very high. It upset me enough that I will not go back there. I will drive 5 min down the road to...

Spoke to Gary, he had it checked out and batteries replaced within two weeks. (Something Giant Eagle still has refused to address) That being said, my cart, full of groceries filled a regular buggy that he chased for me. Then an employee (Jemaine) knotted all of the bags, tied them so they wouldn't spill all over the truck bed. She came out and loaded my truck in there rain. She then told me she was almost done with her shift. That she could follow me home to unload them at my house. (Being a handsome guy women always want to follow me home. Hahaha.) Seriously, they really went out of their way to help out on a cold, rainy winter day. Thanks to your staff, definitely...
