I am extremely disappointed because the Draco I received was in poor condition right out of the box. The only advice I received from them was to use different ammo and reach out to the manufacturer
Review update!!!
I acquired the Draco 8/12/24 with the expectation of obtaining a reliable weapon, although I did not test it immediately. However, after firing 3 to 4 rounds, the Draco would consistently jam, leaving live rounds in the chamber. Upon contacting the shop for advice, I was instructed to lubricate the weapon with grease and change the type of ammunition used. The ammunition that was causing issues was purchased from the shop itself, and I was never informed that it could be problematic.
Despite lubricating the Draco, the issue persisted when I tested it again. I contacted the shop once more and was advised to bring the weapon in for further evaluation. I brought the Draco to the shop on a Saturday night, and was informed on Sunday morning, shortly after they opened, that nothing appeared to be wrong. The weapon had been cleaned and lubricated. I did not expect any free services and inquired about payment, to which they replied that none was required.
I received a call from an employee on Sunday night, and another call from the owner on Monday, who indicated that he would personally inspect the Draco more thoroughly. While I appreciate the effort to resolve the issue, I do not wish to engage in prolonged back-and-forth communication. If there is an option to rate this zero I would rate it so. I had a disappointing experience at Sheepdog Armory, mainly due to the rude and unprofessional behavior of the man working the front counter. He’s an older white male with a large build looks like Santa Claus.If you’ve been there, you likely know exactly who I’m talking about. I came in to pick up my order and maybe do more gun shopping but changed my mind quick!
From the moment I walked in, his attitude was dismissive and unwelcoming. Instead of offering any kind of assistance or even basic courtesy, he acted like I was a nuisance just for asking a simple question. I expected at least a baseline level of respect and professionalism, but got the exact opposite. He also mentioned that he "is just not getting excited with Rifle". That's why he is being dismissive.
A business like this should take customer service seriously especially in a setting where trust and knowledge are essential. Read moreI’d like to thank Roger and his staff sheepdog gun armory. When I first step foot in the store, I recognize that staff was very busy and it took a minute for them to tend to me. At first, I was a bit impatient but after working with them, I understand now why they are so busy. They are very good at what they do. I purchased a gun online and utilized Roger his staff to complete the process with me. And although I became a bit irritated during the process. Roger and his staff remained calm and professional. They worked diligently to work with me while I obtained all of the documentation that I needed for the purchase of my firearm. This process was completely new to me due to the fact that I have recently relocated to North Las Vegas from California. Roger and all of the staff were very helpful throughout the process and turned what I thought was going to be a frustrating situation into a pleasant one. All of my future firearms will be purchased right here with Roger and all of the staff rather than online. They’re all very knowledgeable and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions that I had about their current inventory and even show me a couple of firearms that I plan on purchasing with them.
