I received a silk press from Shay and I have to say that they are overpriced and overrated these days, I got it done on Thursday and it already started losing its luster 2 days later. As far as being overpriced, Shay stated over the phone that her base price is $85 for shoulder length and $100-$110 past should length. The front of my hair is much shorter than the back, and the back is no more than 6 inches past shoulder length. She charged me $125 for a silk press and I also wanted a trim which was extremely overpriced compared to other stylists out here at $35. So I paid $160 total for a style that doesn’t even last. My hair is not hard to manage, it came detangled and was easy to blow dry and press. My mom told me that it would take an hour to an hour and half and it took about an hour and a half but I was unfortunately penalized for having “longer hair”. Seems like that’s what stylists do these days though but at least I know now. She was a great lady to talk to though but I know she knows she overcharged me for the amount of work it took to do my hair, situations like that though I just leave in God’s hands and keep it moving. I have to say I am very much in love with Sayeh's threading work and henna. I have never done a full face of threading til i came to her and she absolutely recommended me to do so, and let me tell you guys it was such a transformation. My skin feels like a baby's skin, my makeup looks way better and my eyebrows are PERFECTION which is hard to find. It's hard to find someone who shapes them with the natural shape of Your eyebrows. I absolutely and highly recommend Sayeh, she is the best in Las Vegas, besides her fabulous work, her personality matches her art. She is the sweetest and most professional I've ever met, she takes her time and really listens to what you want, makes you feel comfortable and is very helpful, open to any questions you may have.
