Do not be deceived with their advertisement of a free full diagnostic test. When I think of a diagnostic test, I think of a mechanic under the hood taking things apart and inspecting the vehicle as promised, but that’s not what you’re getting here. Wonder why you drop your car off so you can’t see what they’re NOT DOING. Well I’m out of $932 and my car was no better than it was the day I drove it in there for diagnostic and repair. They claimed that I needed crank shafts and also an oil change and supposedly performed the work. Vehicle was not fixed. Within the last 3 weeks I have taken it back 5’xs just for him to keep resetting it with the reader due to check engine light coming back on within driving it 3 to 5 miles each time and him giving tons of lame excuses and uninterested because they had already gotten my money. Now I’m at the dealership as soon as the mechanic opened my hood of my car, he immediately smelled a sweet smell which was the coolant. That was a clear indication right there that coolant wasn’t going through that engine so he immediately unscrewed that cap and saw the sludge. He said that any mechanic reputable on this one would have noticed that smell immediately because that was a clear sign of something in the engine and the vehicle should have NEVER BEEN DRIVEN AWAY from there….Got a full diagnostic there and was informed that my oil did not appear to have been changed at all recently no way that it was changed in three weeks and they said if so as claimed, it wasn’t going to do a bit of good for my current vehicle problem. It was confirmed, with a second diagnostic that the problem was not the crankshaft that I was literally taken for a ride. And those guys should be ashamed of themselves. The issue is the sludge in the engine. The dealership stuck a camera down there to see the extent if it was going to be able to be fixed because they weren’t going to waste my time with an engine flush , if it was not going to save the engine. The camera was put down there and thank goodness it wasn’t deep into the engine and can be repaired. I am filing a complaint with BBB. I have my paperwork from Dealership diagnostics with their findings and submitting it online to file my civil suit against this business for fraud and advising me to drive a vehicle that they were aware...

In an industry that is wrought with sketchy mechanics, unnecessary recommendations and just general high cost of repairs, it's refreshing to find such an honest mechanic you can trust. I saw a ton of positive comments about these guys on my neighborhood social media so thought I'd give them a try. First we brought in my son's older car and told them we want a general scan of the car for anything that needs to be or should be done. A few hours later when we picked it up they said that they couldn't find anything wrong. What mechanic would ever do that? I mean you go to any place for the simplest things and they give you an 8-page printout of $2,000+ of things they recommend. I almost wondered how thorough they looked at it but I trust them because there really wasn't anything we thought needed to be done.

A month later we returned with my son's car for a simple oil change and they helped us diagnose a minor oil drip and fixed it at no extra charge. It was just needing a new drain plug and washer but they recommended I go buy one myself at the auto parts store for $5, I did so, they replaced it, no more drip. Again, they could have upcharged me for the plug or said it was something more major.

Lastly, I referred a friend who was quoted thousands of dollars at the dealership. Didn't seem right so she took it here. Now, she did need an extensive radiator, thermostat and hoses replaced to the tune of about $1500 but it was a totally different scenario and cheaper cost that what the dealership was saying.

Oh and I have to give props to Juan at the front desk, he's super helpful. Also Tracy was fantastic to email back and forth getting some preliminary info and setting up an appointment. I started by filling out their online form and then Tracy and I communicated well from there. Was really helpful while I was busy at work and personally.

Let's face it, car repair and maintenance can be an absolute nightmare but we are put at ease when we deal with Josh and Juan at Wrench It. Here are just a few of the reasons why we love them so much:

This year they did a major tuneup on our Nissan at about half the cost of the dealership and they just replaced most of the front end suspension components of my daily driver at a significant cost savings.

They are always busy but they always try to make time to fit you in or if something is non-emergency, tell you the best time to come back or schedule you for another day.
