I was in the market for a pre-built or interested in having someone build a PC for me. I live in a smaller town so I had to look online to see what options I had closet to me. Nothing seemed comfortable for me to do because of shipping, parts having to be ordered, and I couldn't talk to a actual person. I found The Tech Monkey Shop through a mutual on Instagram after they built a rig for him.

I DM'd them on Instagram and within a hour I got a reply. I told them my situation about 2 hours away from Vegas, but I really wanted them to build something for me that I could pick up. I was told it was no problem at all and to give them a call. The rest is history. I spoke with Alexis on multiple builds and he was very informative on what options I could do within the budget I had or go a little bigger for a little more. He sent me over multiple estimates for different builds through email in no time. That same day we locked in on one. I called on a Monday morning, I nearly had my rig that Friday. Alexis called me on with options we could go with after testing they found the motherboard was faulty after multiple diagnostics and tests. I decided to go with my same build originally and waited for the same model board to come. They had it built and ready to go that next Friday for me to pickup.

Steven (Owner) went over everything with me on the build set up. He took his time to answer all my questions and go over the little things with me. Even though it was closing time for the shop, he took his time. Very knowledgeable and cool guy. Enjoyed talking with him.

I am SO HAPPY with my monster build. When I came home, it was literally plug in and go. You could say I got very lucky with some parts that are known to run hot because of their power, but my rig doesn't even break a sweat when I'm gaming. I give the credit to these guys the way they built it and tested it. For the gamers looking at this review interested in this shop, GO WITH THEM. We called Tech Monkey to help us out of a stressful situation. My childern downloaded a virus, and my husband thought it was Microsoft contacting us through a pop up window on Google to help us out of the virus. My husband didn't know this company (Right Help Desk) was the one that created the virus to begin with. He just needed help fast so the kids could finish homework. The scammers asked for our home number to contact us. My husband asked them several questions to do his best to verify they were legit in helping him solve the virus. By the time I came into the room, he had already given our credit card to the scammers and access remotely to our computer. They charged $700 to fix. Instinct told me we were being taken advantage of from Right Help Desk (Google, it states scam). I quickly googled computer tech help near me (Henderson) and got Tech Monkey on the phone. Steven immediately told us to shut our computer down, and terminate communications with scammers.. He said to call our credit card company, cancel card. He would be right over the next day. Within two hours, Steven fixed all our issues. Our computer even runs faster than before. He was extremely informative and helpful to us. We now know what to look for and what not to believe in virus situations. I highly recommend to anyone in our similar situation who isn't tech savvy.
