I would like to give -20 stars to Beauty Elegant Supply because “ I don’t understand how a brand like Elegant beauty supplies can endorse the prejudice and impoliteness , non honest atitude of the hair salon owner, Johane , located on North Lauderdale. I am an Elegant Beauty supply , loyal VIP customer at 15 years , Johane the one called herself as a hair stylist , is the “ hair lady “at 4 years . On 10/31/22 I asked her to do my hair extensions as usual , ONLY few braids on the top of head , the same style since 07/09/22, on September , she charged for the same service $60 ( as I said she braid literally 2 braids on the on top of my head) + tips .Very fair . She ignored my instructions and overcharged me $180 for something I explicitly told her for Do Not do it , she overcharged me for something that I used to pay for her $60 , overcharged for bad done job +$130 to correct her mistake . Unfortunately I had to go back there on 11/01/22 because the bulky braid she did was loosing and falling over my neck causing a lot of pain Of course I repeatedly told her to do my hair 2 or 3 braids on the top of my head , nothing else. She removed the braids and braided again exactly in the same way , Then, to “ fix her mistake “ she charged plus $130 in cash , without receipt .

Next day I called her to explain and to show the pictures of her job , I asked her to refund at least half of the total amount . She charged $310 + tips and refused to refunds my money saying that was my fault because I could not do it extensions ( she was doing my extensions for 4 years )

Also she said she couldn’t refund me because refunds is against the Elegant Beauty Supply. She portrait herself as an Elegant Beauty supply employee. PThe point is she is not a responsible or respectful hair stylist , not at all , she is not even humble enough to admit her mistakes, as a human being , totally normal . Johane did not admit for herself that if she focusing on the service I was paying for , if she treated me with cordiality and professionally , this situation was not happened . She literally treated me differently than she treats Americans and Haitians , she didn’t respect me as as senior and as a person with disability . Johane knows my health condition but this time she ignored my concerns, in fact she could not even heard me because she was too busy watching a loud tv and doing my extensions at the same time , I couldn’t see what she was doing because she kept my chair back to the mirror , making herself comfortable to watch tv.. Unfortunately , Johane has no kindness, professionalism and knowledge to manage the salon , always watching indecent movies , loud volume , stinky food and her crew wearing indiscreet mini dresses. I contacted her about my concerns , I suggest her to refund at least half of $310 , because is not fair to make me pay for her to fix her mistake , Johane refused to refund me , because according to her , refunds is against the Elegant Beauty Supply policy, again, she portrayed herself as an employee. When I contacted johane insisting to watch the video so I can proof my concerns , she said she watched and nothing was showing in the video , but when I asked to the manager release the video he said that he has no access to the camera and the only thing I should to do about it was deal with my losses “TO LEARN A LESSON” and let it go because although she is an independent contractor , she still under Elegant Beauty Supply brand and I can’t do anything else. ELEGANT BEAUTY SUPPLY endorsed her attitude because I have to learn a lesson! I felt stolen , disrespected and humiliated because she did not accept card, only cash , after my insistence she only gave me a I apologize for the huge review , but I try to explain best as I could . Overpriced and inexperienced young lady behind the counter. I went to purchase hair extensions. I am a natural blonde with a darker blonde underneath where the sun doesn't hit. I have been trying to grow my bangs out for years and some hair was cut out to get the black thread out from a terrible experience with a New Year's Eve do that I had done and when I went to get the fine black thread out of my blonde hair( who uses black thread on blonde hair) ended up cutting a lot of my hair with the thread, especially in front. So anyway, I have been buying hair extensions for years. Previously, I had them all over my head ( 20 years ago), but anyway, I just wanted new hair to put a small strip in on each side above my ears to blend in where my bangs are about down past my chin. First, we find my exact match in 24" @130 00. I said I don't need the extra 4" because I keep cutting my hair, so they will match with my bangs quickly. I told her I didn't want to spend that much since I was going to use only 2 small pieces. She showed me clip-ins, which I have no issue with. I would have taken the clips out and glued them in the pieces. Sane price Then she ends up giving me what I think is the 24' because if I am going to spend the 130.00 I will take the length and stop cutting it every 2 weeks. I ask her where the glue is, and she puts the hair up at the counter. Now, while showing me the hair, she only pulled out the bottom of the hair so I am thinking since I wasn't told otherwise that this is going to be 1 long track that I can cut as short a piece as I need. Not the case; it was a package of the thinnest hair I have seen that was already pre-glued and cut into 1-inch pieces!! Came with extra glue. Now she knew what I needed this for ... Did she expect me to stack 6 of them together and glue them to my hair? It was late at night when I purchased it so I had to make do for the night but I could have gotten the same thing on some cheap app that I can't remember the name of for 29.99. What a waste of my money! And to top it off, they were 20. "Had I known that they were already pre-glued, I would have gotten the clip-on and taken out the clips plus the extra 4". I hate the pre-glued pieces. They are bad for your hair, messy, and come out easily especially in Florida when you start to perspire.. they are a new store as far as I know and I think that they should shop around at the other beauty supply stores because...

The store was clean and organized. Each isle was labeled so you could proceed to the isle that had what you need. You must pay attention to the prices cause there is one amount for regular customers and a lesser amount for people who are vip members. Some of the isles are labeled with the wrong price and when you go to the cashier who speaks little to no english she will not honor the incorrect price or even check it out. The cashier wears a glove and does not want anyone to touch her and seem to slam your money on the counter or in your hands without touching it was my personal experience and as an AA it's demeaning to slam funds and let it fall on the ground for us to pick it up. The employees were not knowledgeable on the products since i wanted a 350 color in box to color my hair then buy matching colored extensions they seem lost af when i ask. I wanted a type of hair they insisted they didn't carry however keep in mind i have been buying this brand for years there. I walked all over until i found it myself good thing it was on sale too. If the hair is not coming from behind the counter most likely it is blended and not 100% human. They have great bundle deals on body waves in different brands. Your best bet is to go to the one in sunrise or pompano where majority of their employees actually wears, colors, or know about extensions. One employee with a thick accent explained she never wear extensions or had too, neither does she color her hair. Overall a very clean ...
