Kimberly Square Shopping Center — Local services in North Lauderdale

I had a good shopping experience but checking out had a bit of rudeness attached to it. My cashier was Francisco and I thought he would be as courteous as all the Publix employees I have encountered and been happily served by, but I was WRONG AND SADLY MISTAKEN... The cashier, Francisco, had been serving a female shopper and engaging in conversation when I got to his register. When my turn arrived to check out, I said "hello", believing I would be greeted warmly as I always am when I shop at Publix. I WAS SO VERY WRONG!!! Mr. Francisco was expedient but quietly rude. Since it is holiday season, I thought my check out would be as friendly and helpful as all my shopping trips usually are. Usually, the cashier's are kind, courteous and concerned that I found everything I need. Not this time. There was no reply when I spoke to Francisco after I placed my groceries on the belt. I took notice of his name tag and decided that I am as valued a customer as everyone else is and I am not going to stand for rudeness. Customer service is very important and brings customers back to your location. Upon being treated as though I did not matter, I needed to let folks know about how I was treated. As Francisco rang up my purchases, another African American gentleman was in line. When he got to the register, he was spoken to and served kindly and heartily. As I took notice of this interaction, I gathered my groceries silently and left the store. My lesson; THE NEXT TIME I SHOP AT THIS LOCATION, I WON'T GO TO A BOY NAMED...
