Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in North Lauderdale

Ordered a cake for my son, when I got there. The girl was taking someone else’s order.( Mind you, there were other workers there, and no more customers to help, besides me and the other person who was being helped already) no one acknowledged me, or even said we will be with you in a minute. Nothing. Then when she was done with their order she just walked away. Didn’t say a word. Then she stood there talking to some other worker, and a few minutes later, a different lady then comes to the register and decided to help me. I say I’m here to pick up a cake I ordered online. She tries to charge me for it. I said I already paid online, I show the proof. She said it’s okay, I believe you . ( they don’t keep record, of who pays) ? The cake looked great; However, it tasted terrible. My kids wouldn’t even finish their pieces( it was for my son’s birthday ) I had to throw out the rest of the cake, they refused to eat it. When I tried it. I could see why. It was terrible. I would like to add. I also got a dozen donuts and the lady made it seem like I was inconveniencing her to order them. I definitely won’t be going to that location again. I will add, it did look clean...

We have lived near this location for 3 years so I have attempted to buy from them several times. I found the employees to be rude, totally ignorant and unconcerned with customers coming in and acknowledging them at all. They all behaved as if they hated their job and felt zero responsibility to act any different than that. Zero professionalism. They would literally talk amongst themselves with their backs turned to anyone at the register until you had to say something to get their attention.

For months they ran out of ice cream due to the freezers breaking. I do not blame the employees for this of course but they were always out of ice cream or needed maintenance work.

Finally here recently (August 2024) I tried them again and honestly I was really surprised. Freezers are working, they have supplies, and seems like they actually hired some ladies that are friendly and welcoming. I hope this continues and I’ll give a much better review if it lasts. The ladies there this evening were professional and did their jobs, much better...

This location is the worst. They did not want to serve me at 9:30PM even tho they close at 11:00 PM, she said they had a hard they and they wanted to close early. She had to serve me, and when I said 3 milkshakes, she gave me attitude. She took 30 minutes to make them. More people came in, and there were 3 more employees that all they were doing was cleaning to close early and did not attend the clients. Then another employee came from inside to take a taste of ice cream in front of all the people waiting and left. The franchise should take this location away from the franchisee. The manager must be worst ever. Head quarters need to do something about it. I did a complaint last year with them, but I guess they don't care either. This place is full of lazy employees.
