After a reasonable first visit to this location, a few weeks ago, we decided to go back for a quick dinner. The last time, I ordered the chicken tenders which were standard KFC fare - nothing special but edible. It would have been a 3 star experience. We've seen a lot of ads on TV lately for the boneless chicken. They always show big tender breast meat, properly coated, juicy, etc. So, we decided to try them. When we got them, I noticed the first piece was quite flat, had a heavy coating and was covered with an oil slick. It turned out to be a flattened thigh, with an overly salted, heavy crust. The texture was questionable as to the doneness, so I didn't eat it. The next piece actually was breast meat. If a breast is properly cooked, it shouldn't be tough, which this was. It was also just slightly undercooked - not to the point of being dangerous, but just unappealing. If nothing else, I can always depend on their light, fluffy biscuits, but even that was a let down. It was about half the volume as usual. Sigh, I love a good biscuit, especially if the chicken is a disappointment. This was definitely a one star night, so I've averaged them out. This KFC is terribly understaffed and NOT prepared. I stopped today around lunchtime to find the drive-thru line wrapped around the building and spilling into the road. Inside was no better. No one was eating in the dining room, but at least ten people were waiting to order, and another five or six people were waiting for their food. The employees were working hard within their skills and limitations. KFC needs to prepare this location better as they were out of many menu items and general pantry supplies. They had no soft drinks except Diet Pepsi, no mayo, no pickles, no straws, no salt packets, few chicken options, no pot pies, and no gravy for mashed potatoes.
Additionally, there was no ice in the dining room soda machine. KFC, FIX IT! HELP THEM HELP YOU. You give these employees jobs, they are working hard, but you’re not giving them the tools or materials to succeed! Then if you don’t make your numbers, you cut their pay, their positions, or close the store. Corporate greed is obviously one of the secret...

The customer service was similar to that of Comcast, aka garbage! Seems as if I was inconveniencing them on their lazy Sunday. After going back and forth for 10 minutes of confirming my order with ridiculous attitude, I get to the window to pay only to be met with another individual stating “no cards, cash only”. Not once was I told prior about cash only. Then my card was tossed back to me and he shut the window. This KFC needs to get it together and fast. The manager needs to be on site and get rid of the waste. Keep the attitude at home. Don’t like where you work? Find another job. Or go work at a call center with that atrocious attitude.
