I called to have my headlights and turn signal lights replaced, I asked to have both pairs a lights replaced even though only one side was not working.. I bought light bulbs for this but when I went to replace them I either could not reach the lights or I could not get the bulbs to twist to remove them. The service advisor on the phone told me it would take 15 minutes and we scheduled an appointment. The appointment was two days later. When I arrived at the appointment, the service advisor was not at his desk. An employee told me that he would have the advisor come talk to me as soon as he was back. I sat in the waiting area for two hours, I was talking to another customer who was waiting also. I got up to see what was taking so long, my vehicle was still parked in front of the service desk, it appeared no one had touched it. The service advisor saw me and told me he would get the proposal and be right out to talk to me. He came out with a notepad and said that it would cost $331 to repair my lights. A half hour later he came out and said that they were having a hard time getting the lights to come out and he might need to amend the service proposal as it was taking too long. Around 30 minutes later a parts guy came over to me and said that they ended up taking the light assembly out to see why the light bulbs were not coming out. He asked me if I had ever been in an accident , and I never have. He told me that the light assembly was smashed in on the inside of the light assembly. The only people who have worked on the lights has been Heritage, either before I bought the vehicle or when I have brought it in for recall repair work. The parts guy told me that I needed a new light assembly and it would cost around $600 for the part and $331 for the labor, with tax it was around $941.00 . I checked Autozone for the part and it was listed for $550 for the OrigInal Equipment part, Others were cheaper. I agreed to have it repaired since at this point it needs it. He told me that it would take two business days to have the part shipped, they would call me when it came in. They asked me to pay for the repair before they would order the part, so I did. They took 20 minutes to put the headlight assembly back into the vehicle and I was on my way. A week later and no phone call from Heritage, I called them. The service advisor told me that the part had been there for several days. We scheduled the repair the next day. I took the vehicle in for the second time and I made sure that they remember to replace all the light bulbs. I was reassured that they would. The service advisor told me that it would take two hours to complete the repairs, he would call me when it was done. I went back to work. Five hours later I was done working for the day and no one had called me, so I called them. When I arrived back at the dealership, the service advisor told me that I still owed $331 for labor. I told him that I paid that with the part on the previous visit. He told me that I only paid for the part. My receipt doesn't show what the charges was for only the amount I was charged. So without any other option I paid the extra $331.00. As I was given my keys I asked to make sure they replaced all the lights. He told me that it make any sense to replace the others as they were still working, but if I wanted to replace them it would be $331.00 for labor. So I left having paid $1400.00 to have my lights lights replaced, and told it would cost me another $331.00 to get them replaced. As far as I know they damaged the headlight assembly so I would have to pay more. They lied about the cost of the part and forced me to pay double on the labor and still did not do the work I asked them to do in the first place. I will not go to this dealership again. I have filed complaints with several State and Federal agencies, as I believe this is a common practice for this dealership and not a one...
Read moreVery disappointed, took my 2004 dodge 2500 in for recall work where it was “inspected and determined it was needed” I then waited for the parts to arrive and scheduled to bring it back for the work to be done. Because I was also needing ball joints done I opted to get them done here all in one trip. All was well until I picked my truck up. Upon pickup I was told everything went together smoothly and aligned great. But due to “aftermarket parts” they were unable to install the recall. This is a stock 2004 ram with a 2008 OEM dodge steering linkage to address the poor front end. You’d think a dodge dealership would have the where with all and ability to say hmm this part doesn’t match. No recall needed. But sadly no.
I picked it up and a few days later loaded my family into the vehicle to drive down for Easter weekend. I drove from Logan to St. George, when I got to my family home I have severely worn front tires.
I immediately consulted a local reputable shop for a second opinion where I was notified the alignment wasn’t done correctly and the toe was out of spec. I put them on the back and at the St. George shops advice returned the vehicle to heritage for them to address. After over a week of back and forth I was told my front end needed an additional 6-700 dollars in parts and was damaged and unable to get a proper alignment. That this was the case when I left. I’m sorry but this is information that you should be notified in writing and verbally if it was indeed true. Which I have receipts and reports from heritage showing this wasn’t documented.
Days of back and forth later and me disputing the fact that my front end was faulty they respond with our tech was unable to tighten this properly and that’s why it shifted and cause the MIs alignment. So now I suddenly dont need these parts when I was fighting to make them replace at their cost.
Icing on the cake after them trying to sell me a full set of tires at 352.00 a piece (same tire at Discount tire for 285.00, yes I match load rating as well.) we eventually negotiated a fair price on the tires and I paid my bill and was walking out. This is when I noticed that these “skilled professionals, trained technician’s, and experienced managers had installed a 116s tire and not the 125s. In their infinite wisdom they put a 6ply max 44psi tire on a 3/4 ton diesel truck. I don’t know what school any of these people went to but at the very least you match and provide an equivalent spec tire. My truck came in with a 275/70r18 122/125 80psi 10ply tire and they said well it’s the correct tire size…. I then had to walk the SERVICE MANAGER out and explain to him how I knew it was an improper tire and how to read the load rating on the side wall. Are you kidding me? I’m sorry this went from annoying to dangerous, I haul livestock with this vehicle and if I was not paying attention I would have left with a tire that the empty weight of my truck alone almost exceeded their load rating. Please please please go somewhere else to get your vehicle serviced… may I recommend Moonlight diesel, west motors, jacks tire, shoot throw a dart and go there but keep driving...
Read more**UPDATE!!! Two months later after my initial review I finally got my truck, hit my year mark of not having my truck. Finally think it’s all over, however I got a quote and they said it was one thing as you can see in the picture the 8k price is lower and that’s what they told me, then they told me I needed a new battery because mine was dead. (Well no duh! It’s been in your lot for 1 years!!) they proceeded to tell me I needed to pay for it, I said that’s ridiculous I shouldn’t have too I’m not the one that left it there for a year. They refused to work on it till insurance paid and blah blah I got the run around and somehow they couldn’t keep a single worker. (Must be a terrible place to work at) my truck as more seniority there then all the service techs.
Anyway they told me they figured out how to help me. And got the battery taken off. I go there and talk to them in person to pick it up and he had no proof or paper work to prove they helped me. After I got home I then remember they sent me a quote before they said the battery and then coincidentally the difference in price is right close to what the battery cost. They charged me “384.21!” For a battery. The difference is 345.36, so of course you see some discount of $70 on there so who know what made the finally price the way it is but you can see they didn’t do anything for me to help!!
They tell you what you need to hear to get you out the door. The guy that “helped me” I was happy he actually was working to help me come to find out he also lied to me to get me out the door. How can they have such a nice location and place but the customer service is this bad. The front desk first walking in I was so confused because everyone was dressed in street close and I thought they were customers I was just standing there behind a worker chatting it up not knowing they all worked there! I seldomly post bad stuff about people but I can’t express how upset I am and wish I can give it less star review. They reach out to after you post a bad review and fill yourself with non sense and try to whisper sweet nothings to make it better but just lie and lie some more!!! I’m so frustrated I’m gonna find all places I can review this place and post this exact review. This is my TED talk thanks.*
I wish I could do lower. Last “May” my trucks air suspension got destroyed by debris or whatever it was. Since then I’ve been calling my insurance to help me get m truck paid for and all they been asking for is for the service people to take pics and send it to them.
I told them this many times and every time I called to check in on my truck I either got “we are working on it” “I can’t get a hold of your insurance” “that person quit so we have to start from scratch” how many times am I going to hear the same excuse? Apparently 10 months.
I called my insurance and all they had to do was follow along a 30 min step by step of taking pics so my insurance was waiting also?? Finally someone says they did but as of right now I’ve been paying for insurance and my truck noted for 10 months and haven’t even seen the truck.
If you want someone to give you excuses come here....
