Sad to but say. The AAFES online customer service is absolutely the worse of all the online retailers I use. Servicing manly the armed forces, they lack the standards of true customer service. I've tried to resolve purchasing and return transactions multiple times and I have experience the same unacceptable and completely inadequate customer service. For staters, the hold times are ridiculous. No matter what time of day, there's an unbelievable hold time waiting to speak to someone. I've waited anywhere from 20 to 30 min. Even when I select the call back option, it took 3 hours to eventually receive a call back. It's a nightmare attempting to return an item that was a repacked damaged item upon it being delivered. Nightmare it took 2 days to get them to acknowledge my request. I immediately took the damaged item to FedEx, as instructed and they acknowledged receiving the item. However no word on the status of my refund 10 days after the damaged item was returned. The absolute WORSE customer service I've ever experienced. Read morePX had hydrangeas for sale on top of shelves near awning and after week of insufficient sun and watering, all on top were dead or dying. Over a week ago, I asked supervisor if she’d bulk discount or give away if discarding, and left note for management saying same. I heard nothing for a week, at which point I received a call from supervisor saying in broken English that she had set them aside for me to pickup. When I asked on what terms, she reiterated that she had set them aside for me with no mention of cost. I thanked her, and said I would be by the following afternoon to pick them up. The next day, seeing the ailing plants were indeed off to the side, I went inside to confirm with the supervisor that I was there to pick them up as discussed. She acknowledged and I loaded and left, only to receive a call an hour later that they were meant to discounted, not discarded. I asked to speak with manager about the miscommunication and inconvenience, and reloaded and returned them but was floored when she denied ever having acknowledged me an hour...

But the commissary I would love to use but when i was there one time a woman came up and asked me for my ID and she told me the reason is I did not look like I belong there I was never so insulted in my life I guess it was because I am a minority. I haven't used it since and I told management and it fell on deaf ears like this review. I should have went to the news with this experience but I figured it would be a waste of my time and energy it's probably because there is a high-ranking officer in charge of the commissary and doesn't care about minorities and respect and service members that were in the military for over 28 years God...
