La unica 100% michoacana — Restaurant in North Township

I'm a long time customer, have been going to this place ever since the old location that has burned down just opened. Don't get me wrong, the sweets are delicious. The issue is the poor attitudes of the staff working there. Every single one of them. I've been putting up with their snarky and rude attitudes since it was the only place around here that had the ice cream and yogurt items, but now that a new place down the street opened up with better service and better pricing it is time to break my silence. Let's start with customer service: it's horrible. Not only do they give you the stink eye if you take even a minute to look at the menu, they PURPOSELY give you less of what you asked for if you get on their bad sides. Next let's talk about pricing. The prices that are advertised on the TV are wrong and it doesn't matter because the TV prices are expensive and you now get less food and pay more. I literally just ordered something with yogurt ice-cream and strawberries and it came with a maximum of 5 strawberry slices in it. It's insane because usually they fill the cup up a lot more. Then let's talk about the employee only bathroom. This is a food place and they sell tortas and other Hispanic foods, and they can't be bothered to offer a bathroom to even wash your hands in. Also their elotes are all watery ( canned corn ) and disgusting. You are better off making it yourself for a fraction of the price. I have had enough of all the ladies treating me and my mom badly every time we go in and just go down the street to the new place to get your money's worth. First time trying this place and won't ever be coming back. First off: Woman blonde highlights has terrible attitude. I asked if they could add some of the Chile for the elote in a small bag and she said "well that would be a little hard for me, no?" TO which I said ok fine. Then getting home, my elote in a cup was WATERY, MAYONNAISE USED HAD GONE BAD BC IT TASTED AND SMELLED SPOILED. so I tossed it. I also got an elote on a stick, I asked for extra cheese but found out no extra cheese was used and just a lot of mayo. For spending close to $40 this place was just not it. Another thing: I bought a Coca Cola in bottle and it was flat. Super thumbs down. Find somewhere else to go. This place needs better serve and better...

I agree there attitudes are bad they never greet u or even smile 2 in particular a short mid 30s hispanic lady and another older lady w short hair, it's like they hate working there...the ice cream is mediocre nothing special at all taste like ice cream from the Market nothin compared to the michoacana in Chicago..the elotes taste like from the can. I got funnel cake last time as well was not good at all, tasted reheated and old..they barely put cheese in the hot cheetos and u gotta pay for extra. Idk why we keep going there we go cuz it's close to our house when we are too lazy to go to the other one lol... but we love the one in Chicago more pricer but everything taste 100x...
