Friends helping Friends event today at my local Boscovs seems as though it was a big success! A great day to donate and get tons of bargains to boot! There was an awful shortage of carts which caused me to need to run out to my car multiple times so I wasn't carrying bags around while searching for bargains! I managed to find something for all members of my family from my almost 2 yr. old granddaughter to my husband! Career clothing for me, as well as boots...gotta love the boots at Boscovs! Priced right as usual! (Ok, yes I have a problem, but I still say you cannot have too many pairs of boots!) I also found two young ladies, associates, in the Misses department that were very helpful and funny! Their good spirited nature made the end of my shopping trip very enjoyable! A good day to be a fan of shopping at Boscovs!! Update! My first shopping trip since the Covid quarantine. June 14th 2020. Boscov's has only been reopened a week but pulled it off beautifully! Masks were required but since it has been months since I've had shopping withdrawal and gained the COVID-20 (maybe not 20 but nevertheless enough that my summer clothing was feel a bit tight) and needed to get some clothing. I found bunches if great deals at my local Boscov's, in Pottsville PA. It was clean and bright and a wonderful back-to-shopping place to visit! I still love...
Read moreWe were at this location to buy my father a pair of Alabama Crimson Tide pajama pants and they were marked as Collegiate Varsity Sleepwear for 16.99. We go to pay and we have to pay 27.20. After we go to leave we check the price on the shelf and it confirmed it was 16.99 and they had the same Sleepwear marked for "Penn State and Notre Dame Sleepwear for 26.99" so we go and ask an employee about it. He gets his manager and she says that they are not 16.99 even though Alabama is not included on the sign. So we decided to keep the pants we already paid for and we leave. While leaving we see that the manager moved the entire rack of Alabama Crimson Tide into the back room so we couldn't take a photo. This is an example of terrible management of false advertising. Terrible management. Do...
Read moreNew guy that was working in men's department was very thorough, I had a lot of stuff from all over the store and when he rang me up, he wasn't sure if he had rang up something at the bottom(because boscovs has a specific way of stacking stuff that isn't scanned and is scanned). I was sure he had scanned it but I had been in his place before(I used to work at a boscovs) I told him I would check the receipt for the UPC while he bagged everything. Low and behold, he had scanned it. I showed him the matched UPC's on the receipt to set his mind at ease. He thanked me for my help, I told him that I remember the first time working at boscovs because it was my very first job. He was very thankful and very...
