On 3/18 around 8 PM I went to Homegoods located at 10 Washington St, Norwell, MA 02061 who is managed by Brianna Picard.

I picked up a rug that was marked as $129.99. The tag was attached to the rug. It was not just on the rug, it was attached to it. I spent an hour looking around and found this one. As I went to the counter and was ready to pay, they told me the price was $199. Even the other employees agreed that the tag was attached to the rug, but the manager did not honor the price that was marked. In Massachusetts, if there is a discrepancy between the advertised price, the sticker price, the scanner price, or the displayed price and the checkout price the store shall charge a consumer the lowest price. This store and the manager violated this law. This manager and store should be disciplined and I would need to hear a response. I will share this experience with my circle and every media way possible until I get a response and an apology. I was at the Norwell location today and the lights suddenly went out. As it turned out, the entire area lost their power as well. The store was extremely busy with people coming and going, and at the registers. Immediately upon the loss of power, Terese, one of the Managers quickly took control of the situation and within seconds had all the customers safety to the front of the store as well as outside. She provided us with updates on the power loss and options for the items we had in our carts. I've always enjoyed seeing her and speaking with her when I shop there. The best HomeGoods store in the South Shore or anyplace! The store is very organized, clean, stocked and vibrant. I hate shopping but I have to admit I love my HomeGoods, TJ Maxx and Marshalls because they have the most random but useful things that you can find in a store. The prices are average but with experience and patience, you can find some deals. I highly recommend this HomeGood if decorating a home or just getting random household goods as they most likely have...
