Iām only giving one star, because of the three employees working in this location of Oreilly Auto Parts, only one attempted to be even remotely helpful. We decided to shop here, as my boyfriend did not want to go back to Auto Zone for a second time in the day. I told him Oreilly was down the road, and he was extremely excited as he doesnāt have one near where he lives, and proceeded to rant and rave about how much better Oreilly tends to be in comparison to other auto parts companies and stores.
We entered the store and were (maybe a little too warmly) welcomed by one employee. He went on and on about how he wanted to follow a positive example, how he was a man of God, and other unnecessary information that came off as an attempt to make up for a prior mistake. Those who have worked in retail know what I mean. Just seemed very exaggerated.
Oreilly did not have the parts we needed. One employee looked in the back, tried fitting different pieces for what we needed, he really was trying to be helpful. It was 5:50 pm, the store closes at 7 pm. The other two employees are closing their registers. One of those two, the same one that greeted us upon entering, spent our entire visit LOUDLY expressing his distaste for working there, his distaste of the management, and other negative thoughts he had going through his head. We were the only two shoppers in the store and he was basically shouting across the store about how much he disliked the way things were run. It was an extremely toxic environment.
Oreilly did not have what we needed, and we had a time frame of one hour as my boyfriends truck needs to be fixed tonight so he can work tomorrow, and at 6 pm we have one hour before all stores around us are closed. We expressed this when the one helpful employee was looking on the system for our parts. We decided to buy what they did have and go to Advanced Auto down the street for the pipe pieces we needed. As we were getting ready to check out, the employee helping us had to answer the phone. Not the other two employees that were still busy closing their drawers an hour before closing time. This phone call he took turned out to not be a quick one, and we waited for ten minutes. While our one helpful employee was stuck with a frustrating customer on the phone, two employees are closing their drawers looking at us waiting, and the one complaining about his job continued to complain.
It was honestly disgusting to see. We left. And will not return. Iāve worked retail for years, and my job would be GONE if myself and another employee allowed the only customers in the store to wait for so long to be helped and rang out, while one employee was on the phone assisting someone else. Get your act together. I know it was your last hour on a Sunday but we were in a rush and despite knowing it, you simply didnāt care and instead complained about working there instead.
Might I add, the only helpful employee was young, no older than 20. The other 2 were at least 40. I thought millennials were supposed to be so lazy and entitled?
We will not...

Went there 2 days in a row. James helped a customer he clearly knew and didnt even acknowledge those of us that were and had been standing in line. There was a third employee that was a young kid and who was blatently disrespect. He walks like he has a chip on his shoulder and the customers owe him something. Richard and the 3rd employee ( did not get his name, over 2 days, he never wore a uniform... just a hoodie) ignored me and the whole store for almost 5 minutes as they spoke about ...."protiens and nuerotransmiters" from the back of the store. This place is unprofessional and operates...

When I returned 45 minutes to return the obviously wrong battery, she did not greet me at the counter or apologize for her error. Waited for me to say I was returning the battery I was holding...she "Receipt." short and sternly like issuing an order Firestone had the correct battery for $20 cheaper and graded to last 3 years longer.
