My husband needed a few parts for brakes on our Mazda, and after asking autozone and discovering they didnt have it in stock that day, he decided to call around a few other local places. (5/19/19). After finding that no one else had what we needed, he then called back to autozone and was greeted with "oh, calling back again are we?". So that was cute. I'm not sure how my husband held his tongue but he went ahead and ordered what we needed and was told the parts would be in by Tuesday (5/21/19). So Tuesday comes along and after getting out of work at 3pm he went over to pick up the parts. When he came in 3 employees were in the back, perhaps in a little huddle, and after 5 minutes standing up there he was finally greeted. He stated the last name, and the employee went back to get what we ordered. Some time goes by, and another employee comes up and asks if he needed help, and of course he said no he was being helped already but thanks Another 5 minutes goes by and yet another employee asks if he needs help. Same response, he is waiting on parts and someone if helping him. After 15 minutes, yet ANOTHER employee asks if he is being helped, this is where he said "maybe you could go help the employee finding my part? He has been gone awhile. " So then, this sad excuse for what I assume you call a manager comes out and tells my husband that the parts were canceled on SATURDAY NIGHT. No one called us, no one refunded our card. No one even APOLOGIZED. As this women is stuttering some excuse on how the venders they use "really suck" not ONCE did she apologize to him. So, autozone has no issue taking our money but cant give us a courtesy call when their vendors cancel an order. We then had to scramble and call a dealership and spend an extra $200 to get what we needed, cause our time and money was wasted over somone not caring enough to give us a simple phone call. I hate that I have to say this line, but I work in retail. I get it. Things happen. But the sole reason I am writing this review is that the "manager " had an attitude with my husband and didn't even apologize for what happened. Teach your team to do better. Because I know I will never recommend autozone again. And I rather pay extra at either a dealership or a mom and pop store and get treated with respect and courtesy than deal with this...

That being said, I had one of the best experiences out of any Autozone I have ever gone to and it was in Norwich, Connecticut. I was out of state visiting a very dear friend, due to work relocation. The staff in this location was so helpful, kind and supportive. I had Chris who was a young man very knowledgeable for an 18 year-old who helped me put my new windshield blades on and oil. Chris was personable, very helpful, respectful and knowledgeable. The store manager Came in later that night he was a tall, thin young man with an amazing personality, extremely helpful, and I wish I remembered his name, but he was tall and thin and extremely helpful, there was this assistant manager who was a shorter very heavier set, balding man, he did not help me, I think he was on a lunch break and breaking down boxes from what I saw. Paige was rocking and Bella helped me so much also!!! There was a younger gentleman. I think his name was Jay. He was fantastic also. They were able to order my parts, Get them directed to their location so that I could bring my vehicle to get fixed down the street that same day and gave me a contact person for a repair place that would take me on short notice. They went over and beyond to help me at this location. I had to write a review because not every establishment that you go to does this for their customers. Mind you I was out of state didnāt know the area and they were wanting to make sure that I was safe and I was getting the parts that I needed and made phone calls to get me connected to a repair place down the street. If I could give them 10 stars, I would give them 10 stars!!! The head manager for this location needs to get recognized for his staff because not only were they kind they were knowledgeable and were able to help me, guide me and keep me safe. That was a big deal to them, I was four hours from my home and it was early afternoon in a place I was unfamiliar with.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI never leave reviews but i felt this was necessary. i got a new battery at this location and Tim (the employee who put it in) LEFT A METAL TOOL ON THE NEGATIVE TERMINAL AND THE OTHER END WAS ON THE FRAME OF THE CAR. the next day i found the tool bc my car would not start⦠i jumped it and returned to this location for a new battery and to explain the situation to management and how this is dangerous. the manager was very understanding and a great guy, he apologized many times and took full accountability and admitted this was a dangerous mistake. however Tim claimed he didnāt know how the tool got there and was laughing about the matter. i am very upset by this, what horrible customer service. there is nothing funny about this it could have gone very wrong i got lucky it worked out!!!! the manager explained that āpeople are peopleā and that he usually doesnāt make mistakes like this which i felt was a lame excuse. your staff need to be accountable for mistakes they make instead of acting like they are high and mighty. i would not have really cared if he was polite about things but clearly he doesnāt know how to do thatā¦.. tim, i donāt care that you know what youāre doing, man up and hold yourself accountable. i will never return to this location and ill make sure people i know donāt make the mistake of possibly being around this moron. all i have to say is tim go suck a fat one and put your big boy pants on and hold yourself accountable bc i donāt have a dck but im more of a āāmanā than you. dude ur a sorry excuse for a mechanic⦠yall need new staff clearly. overall great manager but lame staff. whoever sees this make sure you donāt make the mistake...
