Little mixed feelings about this place. Went in here looking to rent a cpap machine and was told I could. everything was ready for me to pick up and I was shown the device. however after discussing cpap with Pete (who was extremely helpful and showed me all the equipment and how to use it) I discovered it might be better for me to buy one due to my circumstances with insurance.

I ended up buying one elsewhere but was so pleased with service I came back the next day and spent 200$ on supplies for cpap machine. So I spent good money here even though I didn’t rent a cpap: and as a note, rentals were only 120-200$ so I spent just as much on supplies as I would the cpap.

Up until this point I was really impressed and happy with their service.

Now the disappointing part. I was called Monday to be told I needed to go pay a 25$ fee for not renting because I was still shown how the machine worked. I was not told this before hand, or right after when I told her my new plans and i hadn’t signed the paper because I told her I wanted to check everything out first. Regardless I don’t think they even had that 25$ fee on the paper. I asked why I wasn’t told and they said ‘no one’s ever changed their mind on a rental so they didn’t think they needed to tell me’. They ended up waving the fee but the fact they tried to charge me extra felt really sketchy. And they’ve likely lost me as a future buyer for trying to scrape me out of $25. I had big respect for the business being so helpful and Gemma was really friendly and helpful but I was really taken aback by this extra charge and her tone changed completely after I changed my mind to rental. I don’t know if she gets a commission on each rental but like I said, complete U turn in attitude.

The service was really good here and they were helpful. Prices are a little on the higher side but fair for Hawai’i standards. Just be warey of surprise fees and attitude changes if you aren’t 100% sure of what you want...

I had a amazing experience with Ace Medical because of my need to get a Cpap Machine. There has been a recall on a on a certain machine but I received the Fisher Paykel machine which still serves me very well! I received very diligent service from my representative named Bert. All of the associates there are very friendly and helpful and just recently I had a discrepancy that they quickly solved to my satisfaction! I was with Queens system but now unfortunately I can’t use their services, Im under Kaiser now they use Apria. I still go to Ace for my mask and hose accessories. I looked up Ace Medical this morning for a phone number and took time to read their reviews. I was surprised at the reviews because I’ve been there several times before and have never had a bad experience. I was greeted by Danny to see if I needed any assistance. He was extremely helpful and attentive to listening to what I needed. He took me up front where I was assisted by Annie. Even though they were quite busy they were very accommodating. I truly appreciated their friendly expertise and willingness to help. I just received a phone call from Annie and know they are working on my order! Exceptional...
