This is the only retail shop in Waimanalo. They clearly care more about the tourist and money, not the community they are in. I needed a last minute gift and this is the only store in our community with clothes and other gifts. I asked if they have baby stuff, she said no, u walk in to see stuffed animals, bibs, and baby clothes. They have nice items in there, even though it's over priced. I asked for a kama'aina discount and didn't receive one.I asked for kama'aina discount, she said cannot because price went up on everything and hard to get shipment. I think they could afford to accommodate the community, since they occupy the parking lot with tour busses and it's a nonstop tourist trap. Upon opening the door a young kid said they were closed, I immediately looked at the time and yes they closed early. I live on island but you can bet your last dollar neither myself or anyone I know will support this business.
