My experience was just awful and embarrassing. There was a stylist in particular that was just so unkind and rude to me. I had explained while booking that I was needing to cancel two out of three appointments bc my best friends little girl had gotten lice while at a summer camp. The receptionist called me 4 times to cancel all appointments even though I explained multiple times that they live at a different house and we have not been around them in anyway. I was understanding the first time how scary and how costly it could have been to bring lice to a salon. She stated “the owner told me to cancel all appointments so sorry” when I explained for the 4th time that we lived in a different household than the kiddos with the lice she said to just come in then. Being already frustrated from that experience while I’m trying to work that day, coming in was a NIGHTMARE. The stylist that was booked to make the cut was completely unprofessional talking about the notes on the computer with another stylist whom had a customer in her chair. She was bothered and didn’t want to do it. We were about 30min past our appointment time when I finally asked if she’s uncomfortable I will just leave. She hadnt even looked at my daughters hair to ensure that it was clean and I was telling the truth that we hadn’t been around them. Meanwhile I’m trying to have a conversation Another stylist walks up and is COMPLETELY RUDE to me. Had no compassion for my frustration and just wanted to argue. I explained talking about me infront of other customers while she hadn’t even looked at my daughters hair was extremely embarrassing to me and my daughter… she didn’t care one bit what I had to say. Now her hair is a blue/green color, splotchy, did not trim her hair, did not fix her hair color, STILL made her pay. Daughter could hear the other stylists and owner/supervisor talking about how bad the color was and that is was okay since she was just a friend of the stylist and not a regular customer. Hard to support a business when they treat customers this way and don't try to fix the mistake. Picture of what she was looking for were sent before and daughter had asked if it could be done - was told yes. Owner/supervisor said she had to leave since they had already closed and that she would have to come back but had to pay before she left - daughter has a new baby and could not just come back at whenever they asked, very rude and unprofessional. Read moreI had been in search of a new hairstylist for quite some time. By chance, I came across Alex’s Facebook post stating that she was receiving new clients. I reviewed her work, thought it was outstanding, and booked her for a highlight, cut, and style. This girl was an absolute homerun! Seriously blown away by her attention to detail, she didn’t rush things, she explained things that she was doing step-by-step, plus gave the very best deep conditioning (and head massage) treatment! The final look of my hair was absolutely stunning! I walked out of the salon feeling like a million bucks! Seriously, the best salon experience. Since then Alex has also seen two of my children for highlights, cuts and styles. And again, we are blown away by Alex’s talent. Her commitment to her clients is so evident!
