IN RESPONSE: Thank you for your reply, I’m grateful to have a dialogue with you. I wasn’t aware that the owner was on maternity leave. No one returned my call or told me that when I stopped in. You are right, there was more to our experience at Eva’s bridal. When the veil came in, we thought the store ordered the wrong veil bc it was covered in sparkles that were falling off covering our skin. We did not remember the one in the showroom being so sparkly, that is not my daughter’s style so she would not have wanted to order that. I did think there was a mistake in the order, but I was told that’s what we ordered and we could try to re-sell it online. We also ordered a belt accessory that my daughter did change her mind on and didn’t use. So we were stuck with a veil and a belt that she didn’t wear on her wedding day. Lesson learned: try to buy accessories where they can be returned. You are right about the seamstress calling and offering to steam out any marks on the dress after my daughter had picked it up. We were grateful for that offer but by the time she called, my daughter had already frantically called the store 7 times with no answer, so we had decided to take it to a dry cleaners. I did call and left a message to ask what the stains were because the cleaners asked, so they could know how to best remove them. We did not know what happened and we’re trying to fix a problem and hoping for some insight. Thinking about it now, I wonder if the marks appeared because I didn’t get it cleaned initially. I imagine a dress that’s been 'on the rack' has been tried on and probably stepped on and maybe those impurities came to the surface when it was pressed. My daughter briefly checked the dress before leaving the store with it. She trusted it was clean and didn’t look over it thoroughly because at the last two fittings it looked clean. I did look closely over the dress initially, after we bought it, and there were only a few marks that we were concerned about, so I did choose to not have it cleaned. Your sales person took the time to help me thoroughly look it over and agreed with me that there were only a couple small spots and said the seamstress could try to steam them out. They came out beautifully when she steamed them. Perhaps my not getting it cleaned initially was the problem. I’m not really sure, that’s what I was hoping to talk about. Lesson Learned: if you buy a dress off the rack, make sure you get it cleaned no matter how clean it looks, just to be safe. Could that be the case? Yes, you are right, we did choose to use your seamstress. Your seamstress was absolutely amazing and a good part of our experience there. When purchasing the dress, I asked how much alterations would cost, I was told a bustle is $80-100 and the hem is the most expensive cost, no other pricing was disclosed. I just didn’t imagine the alterations in total would be $751.89, almost as much as the dress and I was shocked. Providing an alteration price sheet at the time of purchase, would be a nice addition to know more of what to expect. All in all, I think if we had ordered a new dress, in the correct size, instead of buying off the rack we would’ve avoided the whole mess, lesson learned. Perhaps there's a warning you could give to other customers if they are considering off the rack and not dry cleaning it. I am so glad that it was the perfect dress on her wedding day. It was just an emotional roller coaster to get there. Many lessons were learned that I thought were worth sharing. This was the first time I bought a wedding dress and I didn’t know any of the industry standards. Now I know. I’m certainly ready to move on and thought businesses welcome feedback to help with their customer service which is why I tried to...
Read moreLadies, please make this the first store you go to! I am not a big fan of clothes shopping nor am I particularly confident. With this said, shopping for my wedding dress was not something I was looking forward to. I am so happy to say I had such a great experience at Eva’s. They helped make wedding dress shopping a fun and enjoyable experience. Both the store as a whole and the team member I worked with made the process easy and fun. The store as a whole is beautiful, with separate seating areas for various brides who may be in the store at the same time. They have a great organizational system, categorizing dresses by silhouette and then by neckline. This made it easy to instantly go to the style I was drawn to. Additionally, they had a tag on each dress that showed images of both the front and back of the dress on a model. If you’ve ever looked at a dress on a hanger, it can be difficult to get an idea of what that dress looks like on a person. I also really appreciated that the sample sizes they carried started around bridal size 8 – as a bridal size 10-12 it’s depressing to try on a 4 and see how small it is on you. Additionally, I worked with Carrie, who was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. She worked with only me for an hour and a half! I really felt supported by her and that she wanted me to find my perfect dress. Because I had an idea of the style I liked, she let me pick a number of dresses to try on. She helped me try each dress on and helped zip and style the dress so I could get a true idea of what the fitted product would look like on my body. Carrie was my hype girl and made me feel so beautiful throughout the process. She helped keep mental track of which dresses I loved the most and offered me ideas for potential alteration ideas. Eva’s even does in-house alterations. Although this isn’t typical, I was able to quickly speak to one of their seamstresses who demonstrated the different types of bustle options. At the end of the day I ended up picking the first dress I tried on and I can’t wait to wear it on my...

I did not expect or think about buying my wedding dress that same exact day. The original plan was just to browse to get an idea although Eva’s Bridal was one of the boutiques I already had in mind.
One of the sales associate’s name Chris is the one who assisted, and I am not going to lie also I cannot be more than Thankful for Chris because she showed me all dresses on the rack including the clearance rack. Chris did ask me what theme my wedding will be then when I mentioned that it will be Disney Sleeping Beauty from there, she mentioned to me that on the clearance rack a Disney dress was available and exactly the style I am looking for and if did I wanted to try on which I said, “definitely yes”. Chris made me feel confident in myself of how the dress looked in me and to please do not feel insecure with myself. I made a final decision on that dress, but I did not buy it right away because I decided to first show my bridesmaids to ask for their opinion which thankfully they liked how it looked on me with the pictures Christ took of me with the dress on in my phone. Chris did walk me through and guide me of what to do before my wedding date with the dress and she scheduled me an appointment for two weeks later to go in with my bridesmaids so they can see me in the dress on and browse for their bridesmaid dress which Chris is the expert in that. Following day, I decided to head to Eva during my lunch break to pay for it before anyone else can take it more because Chris gave me a good discount for it including the veil as well. The biggest blessing as well is that the price I paid for my dress was less than my budget.
Honestly, I did not really imagine buying my wedding dress from Eva but David’s Bridal. After this day, I mostly do not regret choosing Eva’s Bridal.
Future Brides, piece of advice from me. If you plan to browse or shop at Eva, I highly suggest asking for Chris.
Chris thank you so much and you are the best...
