Thank you for your phone call to clarify everything and also your updated reply. I wish you were at the store to witness this and I know you will manage it better. However, I left a very honest review about my OWN experience and everything I said are VERY TRUE. I have no reason to lie. You might not be happy about the review but God knows I didnât lie. You know it yourself. I have never asked for exchange or refund. I have been going to your shop at least once per month since 2011. It was for you to know that the product was not good at all./. I understand that you need to reply for your business good interests however I am not the first person to write a bad review and I know there are many people out there who have good experience with you. Complain: If you are looking for where to do all your African shopping , this place is okay. But there are other places too where customers are respected and listened too. I bought a gari labeled âijebu gariâ but it was something else. My friend tasted it and she said it is Ghana gari, which I don't even know. But it was horrible! The owner and staffs donât eat gari so they wonât know the product. Unfortunately when you tried to let them know, they will be on the defensive, a specially that lady always there ( their Aunty), they think that you want your money back or you are lying even though you are not returning the product or asking them for any exchange. The lady (the aunt to the owner of the store) can be very rude and disrespectful to customers . They used to be okay but since they now have a big number of customers, they think people can not walk away if they get disappointed. Sorry, you will be surprised before you know. We asked on big white man how much was for an avocado he yelled hold on with out acknowledge that we said something and went behind the counter to start cashing out people. All of the people working there was the most unprofessional. When we finally got finish and up to the register we went to the man we asked for help my aunt ask how much for the avocado he told her an I quoteâcheap cheapâ my aunt said I didnât ask how cheap it was how much was it and he told her â2.99â for 1 avocado. The woman was too busy flirting with the man who had already been serviced to greet my mother and I and to even speak and tell us our total. Only because we thanked her for bagging us so we could leave and end witnessing her melt into this man, did she finally meet us with eye contact.
The lack of attentiveness, professionalism, and respect with certain clientele I believe speaks to how much customer service needs to be updated and improved with this establishment to better show care and consideration to those who frequent your successful business.
