Egg rolls cold as hell not cooked thoroughly so cold vegetable soup was just mainly soup with no veggies no refunds what a joke I’ll never return and poor customer service didn’t apologize for giving us cold egg rolls soup wasn’t made right horrible horrible place food was bland terrible won’t be back!!….. even your response is rude! In person very rude instead of apologizing you’re just trying to justify yourself you don’t care about the customer for real that’s why people will continue to not patronize you all and go somewhere else I’ve never been to a place like this that serves terrible food don’t apologize just be condescending and as a matter of fact response which is horrible this is the reason why I’m not coming back to your business admit your wrongs you gave me very cold egg rolls they were never cooked thoroughly I guess you figured because you remade them that makes it better no it doesn’t! You gave us mainly soup no vegetables and your customer service was very abysmal I will not return and I hope others will do the same! You can’t go around treating customers like this giving them bad service and expecting to keep coming to your location And I am done with this situation! Save your response because...

Disappointing Experience and Under New Management. As a loyal customer of China City for over 20 years, I am disheartened to share my recent negative experience. The restaurant is now under new management, and the quality of the food has drastically declined. The coconut shrimp, once my favorite dish, was a huge disappointment, and the flavor was not at all what I have come to expect from this establishment.

Furthermore, the new management refused to acknowledge the changes when I raised my concerns, insisting that nothing was different. It's also worth noting that there are now several signs around the restaurant stating 'no refunds,' which should have been my first clue that things had taken a turn for the worse.

Sadly, I will no longer be returning to China City. It's unfortunate that a once-beloved restaurant has fallen so short of its former standards. I hope the management takes customer feedback seriously and considers improvements to restore the quality and service that long-time patrons have come...

I dont know how this place doesnt have 5 stars? This is the best chinese Ive had since leaving NYC. You hear how NY pizza and Chinese spots are the holy grail of food types in the city and this spot is it. I order from here probably 3 or 4 times a month. This time i remembered to take pics before devouring it. But here is chicken and broccoli (without the carrots), chinese bbq spare ribs (not like sweet baby rays or anything, like real chinese style spare ribs) and coconut shrimp with chicken fried rice. Now and then I will splurge and upgrade to shrimp fried rice but unnecessary since I got rhe coconut shrimp. BEST COCONUT SHRIMP i ever had. Seriously. Only complaint i have is that its a bit more expensive off of doordash. This order came with an eggroll and side of white rice and totaled 50 dollars through Doordash. Its much cheaper ordering over the phone...
