Tried this restaurant with my brother today, for the first and last time. We were told we could sit anywhere we liked, so we sat and waited a while. No one came up to our table for close to 10 minutes. Finally, as I was getting ready to tell my brother I think we should leave, someone set waters down for us. Then we waited some more. I overheard the man behind the counter asking the servers if anyone was going to take our table, when the girl who ended up being our server said she was going to but she was waiting on something for another table. She had walked by us several times and never greeted us, or let us know she would be right with us. Finally, the guy behind the counter came over and took our order. When the food came out, my brothers bacon was cooked so much it was dry as a bone. I tried a slice and it made my jaw hurt. They also put my eggs on his plate and his eggs on my plate. They get offended and defensive when something is wrong. Twice a person in my group was served something that tasted off. The first time the hashbrowns tasted sour and apparently it was a problem with the attitudes in getting a new order. This time a person picked up grits, and after tasting them they tasted like sour milk. After stirring them they smelled like sour milk. She called the shop to let them know about the issue, and she was told "They were just made this morning!" It doesnt matter if they were made 5 minutes ago if the milk was spoiled. The reply over the phone was a short and snarky "Thank you". How are you upset when your food is spoiled? She wasn't even trying to make a issue, just encourage them to check the grits so no one else got sick, but instead got met with an attitude. There obviously needs to be some work in professionalism.
