My truck had a transmission problem and the chevy dealer gave me a estimate of 4100 to replace, when i called Tunner from alll transmission world he said he would give a estimate for free and to replace/rebuild the transmission it would cost around 2-3k, so i had my truck towed to him, once my truck got there he called and said the transmission had a problem ( which i already told him on the beggining) and he charged me almost 500 to give a more precise estimate ( which was not part of the original deal ), but he also told me that if i did the job with him that 500 would be deducted from the total price, so i went along, after he gave me a more precise estimate and i told him to go ahead and fixed he called me a day later to tell me that after ordering a few parts that was on the quote he already gave me he said to have a full lifetime warranty and with the new parts he needed the price would be going to 4100 ( same price a dealer gave me a few days back ) i was not happy with the price gauge like that but he already had my pickup with the transmission out and i would have to pay for him to get it mounted back, so i approved to fix it ( this happens about 6 months ago ) after i remove my pickup truck i noticed that it was kicking gears once in a while, i went back and he did nothing, now with 6000 miles after he did his work my transmission stop shifting and i brought back the truck, he is charging me over 1000 with excuses that it was not covered on the original deal, well i have the same problem i had before and he rebuilt the whole transmission, how it is not covered? This was my 2nd Great experience with Tanner. I've purchased all my vehicles from the same dealer since 2000, I had a transmission to go out on a 2007 car the dealer wanted almost double what Tanner charged me I was so impressed with the whole experience I wanted as many people to know as I could reach, to know about this place what Tanner didn't know about me is I was a retired Pastor of 25 years & had my own local radio show which I asked Tanner to allow me to give him a free interview. Last week I took my fairly new 2015 car back to my dealership for a routine oil change & was shocked when the service advisor said to me Sir, I don't know how to tell you this but your engine is shot and it will cost you nearly $ 6000 to replace a new one, because it's leaking oil everywhere. Well I hadn't heard any knocking smelled no smoke experienced anything to say to me my engine is shot. So I told him I'm getting a second opinion and had it towed to Tanner due to the service advisor saying it can't hold oil & may seize up on you anytime now. Tanner & his crew checked it out took a picture to show me no oil dripping everywhere and not a drop had leaked since I towed it from the other shop, also as of today 6 days later & over 700 miles driven the oil stick says FILLED TO MAX. I told Tanner you have a customer for LIFE. If You're looking for an auto repair shop that's HONEST, CURTEOUS, FAIR, TREATS EVERY CUSTOMER THE SAME & has Reasoable prices take your cars to TANNER @ ALL TRANSMISSION WORLD on S. O.B.T. I stopped by the All Transmission World on orange blossom trail after having a bad experience at another transmission shop on OBT, i will not mention the shops name . I was greeted in the parking lot by the manager Mr. Tanner Bennett who proceeded to explain that All Transmission World offered a free performance check , i explained to him that my truck was making a weird noise and that the other shop said that i needed a new transmission ,, i have owned my truck for 5 years and i no my 05 ford f 150 and it was shifting good but was making a bad clunking noise out of the back, So the manager took my truck in the shop and put up in the air for the inspection i went in the showroom to wait for the expected bad news ,, after a short wait as they were busy Mr Tanner came and got me to take me into the shop and i noticed how much cleaner this shop was vs where i had come from to have him show me that my u-joint was bad and that is where the noise was coming from ,, i asked him for a price and that i also needed brakes so he then gave me a more than fair price to fix my problems ,, at this point i told him to go ahead and do the repairs . Now my truck feels like new again and i will always go back to All Transmission World on OBT to see my new best friend Mr Tanner Bennett as he made me and my wife feel right at home ,, almost like back home with our family mechanic in Mississippi . So i strongly suggest stopping by ALL transmission World on SOBT for all your repairs as they do...
