UPDATE from 1 to 4 stars - I went back because I really wanted empanadas and let me tell you, what a difference! I did have a burger as well. Both items were so delicious and fresh, and the service was phenomenal. I only waited about 10 minutes too, which was perfect for my lunch break.

Y'know, they say "always make a good first impression"... Well, today was my first time going to this establishment. I always work across the street and decided to come in with my coworkers. None of us will be returning. We had to wait 30 minutes before we were finally told by the cashier that they were moving slowly due to a 20+ burger order someone made over the phone...
First of all, if you knew the customers were going to have to wait- why not warn them? We came on our lunch, and I overhead other customers complain as well for the wait.
Second, why would you accept a 20+ burger order during LUNCH RUSH (12pm) when you supposedly have "two new people" cooking in the back? Yeah, that was the other excuse we received. Look, I've always respected the food industry because I do know it's a lot stress during busy times... But it isn't rocket science either. The cashier offered a refund, but we decided to wait a little longer because we were on our lunch break and would have no time for anything else.
Half of us got the food at the 35min mark, and the other half got it at the 40min mark- And those orders were completely wrong. The ingredients are listed ON THE SLIP, how can you completely ignore it? We got the refund for that food, but I had to wait till the 55min mark to receive my to-go order I placed at the start for my boss.
The coworkers that did get their food said it was good, but not nearly good enough to warrant a wait like that. We will...
Read moreI’d eaten here a few years ago, and thought the burger I had was great. Hot, lots of pleasant, competing flavors, and a pretty short wait, even though it was pretty crowded.
Oh how times have changed! It started with the girl at the counter. We were standing there, not 4 feet away from her, but instead of taking our order, she was just leaning way over the counter talking to some guy. She even looked at us a couple of times and then went back to talking to him. My bf asked her if we could order and she didn’t let his question interrupt their deep conversation for another minute or two. She finally inched over, without saying a word. I swear, it was like we ran over her dog or something. I asked about two different burgers and she just tapped the menu, as if that explained anything.
There were four tables worth of people and most had their food. We ordered. 3 burgers and 2 cheese fries and a couple of cokes and that was just under $80. Yup. 80 bucks. Then we sat down and waited. And waited. And when we were through, we waited a lot more. Oh, and every empty table under the punishing fluorescent light was filthy with lettuce and potato chip dust. (Hungry yet?!).
During that time, we got to watch the guys in the back standing and talking while occasionally getting back to making food. Exactly 39 minutes later, we were treated to not warm burgers and some congealed cheese fries. The cokes were fine.
So, if you want cold burgers and fries and want to pay thru the nose for no customer service, and you love to watch cooks…..talk a lot. I lowly recommend this overpriced,...
Read moreOkay, okay, I admit I'm a bit of a burger skeptic. I'll rarely go to a spot and order a burger because....well... to me they're typically all the same.
I said what I said!
It took me awhile to get into this place because I figured I'd just wind up bunned out (get it? 🤦‍♀️). I get my car repairs across the street from this location and you know you'll do anything to get out of that waiting room.
While the burger patty itself isn't some holy grail of mixed meats that makes your mouth wonder where it's been all of its life....the carefully chosen ingredients do!
These burgers are chock full of flavors. Layer after layer after layer of just sheer goodness.
I've gotten 3 different kinds at this point and each one was better than the last. You can also get them lettuce wrapped in case that's more your style.
The fries are seasoned and always hot, which is such a small yet monumental bonus. Plus, they have some killer condiments in the mix here. If you're anything like me and enjoy using a French Fry as a vessel to stuff condiments into your face then you need to try these.
They have a pink sauce which remains a mystery, a garlic sauce which is like a tasty aioli, and a pineapple sauce which is sweet, tangy, and to die for. Sweet and salty is my jam....can you tell?
The staff here is ALWAYS amazing. They are kind, helpful, and you never feel like you're a burden just by being a customer. They are absolute gems đź’Ž in a time where so many food service employees are dispondant.
All in all it's a great spot for a tasty spin on a regular burger, and this burger skeptic...
