Tacos Express Authentic Mexican Food — Restaurant in Oak Ridge

Came to universal studios with family. We wanted mexican food and searched near restaurants from our hotel. Went to taco express and we order to go since it was full. While waiting for our food I notice a guy washing the floors with broom and soap, well to my surprise he started cleaning the bottom of the cook grill with same broom and soap. Well to my other surprise they have the meats in drawers at the bottom of the grill. Not in a cooler or in an appropriate temperature at least since it’s meat. Under the grill it’s lower than room temperature , I’m not from the health department but I don’t think is safe to cook that meat. But the worst thing I notice was the cook opening the drawers and grabbed the meat to put on the grill. He touched the dirty soap and touched the meat.. the dirty soap is going inside the drawers where they keep the meat. And… some meat is touching the dirty grease drawer rails.. Good thing my food was already done when I notice the cook doing that.. but we didn’t eat it all because the pastor tacos are not authentic and we’re super salty. And we were scared to get sick after what I saw. Hope they see this post and clean those drawers. Restaurant… if you send me a picture with clean kitchen and meat in appropriate temperature I’ll remove the post.. you as owner should give your employees the appropriate training while cleaning the kitchen and...

Just ate here pulling out of their driveway now,the food was completely unedible the worst thing I ever put to my mouth,the bill was over $60 for 4 dinners that didn’t even get eaten,the steak meat in my green enchiladas was so burned and dried out it taste like firewood and was as hard as the wooden table,it actually was not chewable I took a bite and it turned to dust in my mouth I kid you not,my husband had the pork tacos the pork was ice cold and tasteless,not to mention there was pork mixed into my steak enchilada dinner,my daughter had the steak burrito asked for sour cream didn’t get it,the guy also told my husband that he couldn’t have cilantro and onion on his tacos because he would have to do it himself,my son had chicken taquitos ,terrible,my youngest daughter had a steak taco and asked for sour also didn’t get that ,service was terrible food was worst,I have been to lots of bad restaurants and This has got to be the worst,I have been to restaurants that I paid $1,000 cash to eat decent food so trust me it’s not the $ that bothers me it’s the fact nothing was edible they should not be in business and should be ashamed...

Been here a couple of times and service was great at first, second time they were snippy, and this time I got there at 10.15(I work late nights) they didnt close till 11. They told me to Gos only once I walked in. Okay yea that's fine, but then they literally cooked my meat two seconds on the grill I watched them. Then threw that in the to go plate. Then decided to microwave both my rice and beans for 3 minutes. Why they didnt leave my meat on the grill that time really pisses me off! Also if I was able to eat in like I usually do, I'd get chips and salsa for free. But instead since they wanted to close they then said I'd have to pay 2 bucks for it. Not much more money but bs considering I wanted to eat in. Now I'm omw home to cook this meat some more, and season it cause he didnt throw any season on it. NO RESPECT AT ALL.
