I always shop across the street at Save -Mart for the friendlier employees and better prices. Sure it's always busy but that's how great they are. I just missed their closing time this evening and had to go to Raley's. There's a reason it's like a ghost town in this store, always rude customer service and incredible high prices. Thankfully I only had to purchased a few over priced items. Upon time to check out and there's only one register open but with no one shopping there it shouldn't be a problem, but it was. I waited and waited then said, "Hello" but no response. No one around. I don't usually pay high prices just to do their job but I got tired of waiting and went to self check out, which ALWAYS has issues. When I started to scan some 16 year old came up and said, "Oh I didn't know you were here". I told her I yelled hello twice but of course she didn't hear me. She was "busy" she said. I started doing their job and of course I kept getting the wrong prices, I know Raley's depends on customers not realizing they're being over priced but I caught it. She was now standing in eye sight talking away with a bag boy as I asked, "excuse me" twice to no avail. I then said a little louder that I needed help and she was sooooo distraught that she had to stop talking/flirting to help me. She pushed some buttons and said, "You're good to go" and went back to flirting. I asked, 'What do you mean"? and explained it's still showing the wrong price. She let out a heavy sigh, walked alllllll the way over ten feet, hit some buttons again and said, 'Now, you're good to go'. AGAIN I said, "No I'm not because it's still showing the wrong price". I could see her rolling her eyes and again sighed. She called someone and had to get the right price, so third time is a charm I guess. When the right price came up and for some reason I said, "Thank you", but no response. No sorry, no good to help, not even you're welcome for destroying my night, nothing. Again there's a reason this store is always so quiet and puzzles me they remain open. Nothing will change, I know people don't want to work these missed up days in our country and those that do put little or no effort because businesses can't afford to lose employees but can they also afford to...
Read moreI purchased the Christmas prime rib dinner. Thankfully I ordered an additional prime rib as well as other additional sides. When i received my order I did not open it in the store. I opened it on christmas day. When I saw the serving sizes and the size if the prime rib, I was very upset. It was advertized as serving 6- 8. I don't know what 6-8 they aaare talking anout. The o,ly 6-8 this could have served would have been young children. It would have only fed three maybe 4 people for dinner. I have always had good service and great products from raley's, not so much this time. I paid a lot of money for this dinner. I was told by a raleys employee I should demand my money back. I think it is too late for that but I will not order one next year. Very sorry this happened, I had always liked raley's. By the way the other sides I ordered were not from raley's. I had tried to order a second dinner but was advised it was too late to order. This was December 21. I'm glad they wouldn't take my order now. If they had, I would not have had enough food to feed everyone.

Read moreCompletely unprofessional, person at the register was rude, and lied to me saying I couldn’t sign up for the raleys club in store. Which ended up costing me over $30 extra. This was extremely disappointing, considering I just moved to oakdale, and the is store is down the street from me. when I called I was told that was incorrect and I could. So I was pretty upset and wanted to know if they could do anything about it. The person on the Phone blamed corporate, which I corrected her and told her that it’s not corporate who lied to me and who basically made me pay more money. She then began speaking rudely, as if I had just done something. Worst experience in a grocery store ever will never go back. And will be calling corporate with everyone’s name I...
