The Collector's Ward — Local services in Oakdale

We have been going to The Collectors Ward as a family since they opened in Oakdale. We all love it. personally, I'm not into card collecting, but my husband and two children are. They're wonderful to work with. I had called them last minute to place some cards on hold for me to purchase for my husband as a surprise. I ended up being admitted to the hospital and I was unable to pick them up when scheduled. I made sure to communicate properly with them and they were kind enough to work things out for me. They even helped me out with my daughters Christmas present last year and made sure she didn't realize I was purchasing it while we were there. They're awesome. Family oriented. Kind. Sweet. Informative and easy to work with. My husband actually has them send his cards in to get evaluated. They did all of the prep and his card came back rated at a 10. From what I'm told that's a good thing? 😆 Anyways even from someone who knows nothing about cards I can tell you these guys are great. They help me with my gift purchases for my family regularly. They keep the kids entertained and engaged when we go in. In fact, the kids never want to leave when we take them in. If you have not made it by this location yet, you should. You will not be disappointed. Pokemon cards, historical time capsule cards (my favorites), football, baseball, etc... they've got something...

I would give 10 stars if I could! Amazing local card shop. My kids love going, and are always treated with such kindness and patience. He gifted my son cards when we went in for his birthday, which made him feel so special! Our last visit, my very annoyed daughter kept asking to leave, and the owner gave them some cards to keep them happy and give my son some extra unbothered shopping time! The owner obviously appreciated all his customers and that alone makes us want to come back...

These guys are absolutely awesome. They're very helpful, and they're willing to go above and beyond just for the love of collectibles and cards. I recently am sending off my second edition, Charizard, for PSA grading, and they have very reasonable prices and take the headache off your plate. I recommend these guys 10 out of 10. They have a lot of different varieties of collectibles and cards. So, I would definitely check it out if I were you. Thank you, guys, for being local...
