“No. Don’t lie for google reviews, have some integrity. The one star review has nothing to do with your cancellation policy. My boyfriend and I booked a 2 night stay while I was recovering from a medical procedure. We did not attempt to shower the first night as check in was 4pm and we had showered prior to leaving home in the morning. The second day we woke up and spent the entire day in Yosemite National Park. We returned in the evening with pizza and enjoyed the hot tub. After getting out of the tub we attempted to shower, and discovered that the hot water in the shower was not working. I’d also note the cold water in the shower was hardly more than a trickle. Granted, it was late in the evening (9pm or so) but when I contacted the owner to let them know the situation they were accusatory stating that the water worked fine prior to our arrival. The owner’s profile specifically talks about them living within 20 minutes of the property and also states that they own many properties in the area. I was offered no solution and we had to fill pots and pans with warm water from the sink in order to rinse off for the night. I was told I would be offered a refund upon the owner inspecting the problem. I asked for them to meet me at checkout time so I could show them the broken shower nob but they refused. They didn’t offer a warm shower at any of their many other properties before we got on the road back home. I submitted videos to Airbnb about this issue and was later informed by their customer service that the owners were adamant about nothing being broken, essentially stating that I was lying. I had to further fight the charges through my credit card company, submitting written documentation of the entire situation. I was ultimately refunded the entire amount. My one star review is based on your terrible customer service, not a cancellation policy.”

This was my gf’s spot on review. Imagine trying to plan a romantic weekend only to have it almost be ruined by this airbnb owner. After getting out of the jacuzzi, after spending a full day at Yosemite, we wanted to relax and rinse off before going to bed but unfortunately there was no hot water! We had flown across country for a surgery a couple weeks prior and wanted to relax and start to get back on track with our lives. So not having hot water, after a snowy day, was a huge let down. But I was not willing to allow the predicament dictate our night, I gathered pots and pans and filled them with hot water from the bathroom sink. It was a little messy, which I cleaned up, but it did the job. As home owners we’re both aware that things happen and breakdown, but to have the audacity to accuse us of lying about it and then to not show up to deal with the issue was a further insult. Very clean and roomy. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger towns. But close enough to bed and breakfast and hometown burger and ice cream shops.Very easy access from the main road. Enough parking for 4 to 6 vehicles. We had 7 people with us and had no problems with the sleeping arrangements. They have a master bedroom with a queen and bathroom and shower. The second bedroom has a queen also and lots of space in it. The third bedroom has 2 bunk beds. One of the bunk beds has a queen and a double. For quality time they have air hockey and pool tables. Also have darts. They have wifi so my kids brought the Playstation also and had no problems playing on line. To finish the night they have a hot tube and a charcoal bar b q out side in the back. They also have seating to enjoy a dinner outside while you are Q'ing. One thing is do not come before 4 because the code will not work until 4 and you will be waiting outside until than. We will be here for 3 days so I will continue this after. Enjoy...
