Artifacts — Local services in Oakhurst

It's a cool store but we ended up not buying anything. The majority of items are common and can be found easily off Etsy or Amazon such as the tongue drums, singing bowls, ornate jewelry boxes, music boxes, ponchos, etc. Found a Ohm Store brand singing bowl ($40 from the website) marked up to $200. Found a Native Winds Flute ($160 from the website) marked up to $299. Nothing in the shop is hand crafted or local that I could find, so may as well buy directly from the original sellers online. The rocks/gems setup is not very buyer/collector friendly. Majority of rocks are locked up in glass "ask for assistance" lockers, with no names or prices listed. Most rock shops let you touch and see everything and they list the names/prices of every rock. Many names at this shop are made up descriptions such as "Positive Feelings Meditation Rock", instead of Malachite, Labradorite, Fire Opal, etc. I will never buy anything that doesn't have a price listed. If I wanted to buy 12 items should I ask for assistance each time and have an open discussion about the price of each that is made up on the spot? Weird...

An absolute jem and far more than a gift shop. Incredible selection of hand crafted jewelry. Beautifully polished and set stones, bracelets, necklaces, pendants. Silver and gold. majority are made by the owner, Jeff, who is a definite master of his craft. In talking with him, he travels all over the world to purchase and bring back all kinds of amazing "artifacts". Statues, clothing, trinkets of all sorts. The store looks and smells fantastic. Worst place I've ever been! They have Satanist books and symbols of allllll sorts of gross things. They are literally next to a thruft store with scripture in the windows. My son said about this store "and people wonder why thus world is so messed up" gifts are too expensive and everything makes a "statement " about everything ungodly and just gross in the world. Very distasteful...
