Eh. lots of small businesses. There is a Giant Farmers Market as it is named. They have pretty good quality food. Can be a little pricey. There is a staples office store here. Forget about Franks Pizzeria. Ordered broccolli Rabe with garlic and don't remember ordering "GLASS" in it. Yes!! unreal! The person who was eating it had just gotten through with cancer treatment too!! The girl who answered the phone when told the response was REALLY??? YES REALLY!! That's all she had to say..There was also a reference to "what about the mice" from an employee going out the back door with the manager/owner while I was leaving the mall exit one evening. No Thanks..This may happen in restaurants having rodents but I didn't need to hear it. Up to you if you want to take a chance and eat there. You will see it is busy..lol Head over to Oakland Pizza across the tracks if you're needing a slice. lol There are other stores there as well, shoe store payless, chinese place, piece of hair in my food..thanks bye..and there is the Motor vehicle of oakland..otherwise not much of anything else. Oh, American Woman inside the mall area. Always seems to be over crowded in the am with one instructor. Take a chance with other classes that get cancelled with no instructor or not enough people. The have a pool, but its as old as the place over 20 plus years so yeah. you know what that means. old filter system etc.. your paying for that when you join which in my opinion is kind of pricey. I can jump around at home to a video for a lot less and use Planet Fitness for $10.00 a month with access to all equipment which is well kept and place is spotless. Not paying for extras I don't use nor need. Planet Fitness has 24 hours facilities as well. Upgrade to $20.00 a month and you get a lot more than a regular gym can offer minus the swimming pool if...
Read moreThis “strip-mall” has a variety of stores available including Staples, a “Dollar Store”, a nail salon, Sports Clips, Leslie’s Pool supply, as well as a few food locations including Frank’s Pizzeria and restaurant which is quite good. There is an eyeglass place and a pet supply and a few others I’m not familiar with. There’s also an Insurance agency, a Pediatrician’s practice, a bank and a NJ MVC office which only handles Driver’s licenses and issues (not vehicle things like registration and titles)
Recently a “Farmers Market” closed and has not been replaced yet.
Overall it’s a pretty good place that meets a lot of needs. It’s in the middle of Oakland, right on 202, and...
Read moreThis shopping center is one of my most visited centers, as well as the one with the most variety of stores that I actually go to, with the farmers market store being my favorite. Food, barber, groceries, dollar stores, office supplies, and pet needs are met here among other offerings. My only complaint is that parking is usually a challenge as this place is crowded, especially close to the farmers market store. Also, access from the main road is limited (and exiting) as there are many "no left" signs and several with times posted for limited periods which can be a hassle to read and navigate with if not familiar with the area and already have a plan of...
